The media could not be loaded. I installed the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights v2 on the front of my home, and I’m seriously impressed with the quality, brightness, and flexibility these lights offer. Setup was straightforward — the mounting brackets and spacing were well thought out, and the included adhesive strips and screws made for a clean install. Once up, they virtually disappear during the day but put on a fantastic show at night. Where this system really shines (literally) is in the customization. Through the Govee app, I can easily switch between hundreds of dynamic presets or create my own color patterns. I’ve set up custom scenes for Christmas (red, green, white), Halloween (orange & purple flicker), the 4th of July (red, white, blue wave), and even St. Patrick’s Day (green rainbow). It’s as simple as opening the app and picking a scene — no ladders, no untangling lights, and no weather concerns. The RGBIC technology allows for multiple colors on one strip, which makes the effects more vibrant and professional-looking than standard RGB systems. The lights are super bright at full strength, but can be dimmed easily if you want something more subtle. They’ve handled heavy rain, snow, and wind here in Western Pennsylvania with zero issues. Another great feature is the scheduling and automation. I have mine set to turn on at dusk and off around midnight. I love these lights! We have had them for about 9 months now. I like that I got them on a great sale. I was able to find them cheaper a few days later and Amazon gave me the price difference. The app works perfectly, I have not had any issues with the look, settings, or the quality of color, brightness, or look of what I wanted. Super easy!
