I'd been looking at water rowing machines for quite some time. Living on an out-island, our options are very limited since there is no retailer that sells them on our side of the island. I initially ordered one from a big-chain, discount store. They charged my credit card and never delivered the item. After getting the charge reversed, I figured I'd look at Amazon. I was surprised to find this one available with Prime delivery. The price was about the same as the big-chain store but with free delivery. I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance. My husband and I were, and still are, pleasantly surprised. UPS delivered right to our home. We put it together in about 30 minutes. Everything worked including the display pad. We had no problems with holes lining up, either. We were concerned the rower might be 'rickety'. It feels super sturdy. Solid powder coated/painted metal. Seat has a very smooth glide. No leaks or breaks in the plastic water container. The display tells us everything we want to know. Better directions on how to use the display might have been nice but we eventually figured it out. We're both tall people and there's no fear of going off the end of the rail. It would have been nice to know how often to add the water conditioner tablet, but that's a small complaint. Some people didn't like the foot pad/strap set up, but it works for us. We've used it every day since putting it together without a single problem.

My husband bought this rowing machine for me. I am 65 with knee issues, with that being said, this is a SMOOTH ROWING EXERCISE MACHINE! We filled the drum to the 5 gallon mark and it easily glided back and forth. First attempt (and I’m a couch potato) I could easily do 20 minutes without any stress or pain to my knees. On day two, I glided easily to two reps of 20 minutes each. My goal is three reps of 20 minutes each. I fully believe that is totally doable. The only thing I have any trouble understanding is the display screen. I need to do some research on how to use it to my benefit. The instructions on how to use it are a bit vague. I also need to learn how to sync my Kindle and iPhone to it so I can get the maximum usage. But for now listening to my favorite music while rowing is perfect.

I prefer this water rowing machine over my previous magnetic one. Firstly, it adds an aesthetic touch to the room, resembling a piece of furniture rather than exercise equipment, which is a stark contrast to the look of the magnetic rower. As I don’t have a dedicated exercise space, this integration with the room decor is a huge plus. Additionally, the water rower operates much more quietly, emitting just a gentle "whoosh" while rowing, unlike the noisy operation of the magnetic machine. The seat glides smoothly and quietly, and assembling the machine was extremely simple—just attaching the seat.

Product came with parts that don’t line up, a broken electronic/computer mechanism and was obviously a return because the parts were open and one of the wires that hooks the electronic pad to the machine was broken. I don’t have the strength to try to take it all apart (it took me hours) and then try to drag it to a return center, so I will unfortunately just lose the money. I’m very disappointed because my daughter and I both needed it for medical reasons.

It's smooth, solid, attractive, and easy to assemble. We put ours in my son's vacant bedroom (where he left his 60" HDTV on the wall) upstairs, so make sure you have help getting the box to the second floor. That was the hardest part of the assembly! Decent directions, even with the language barrier, and all the parts went together with ease. It even comes with a cool water pump and water tablets so you can fill the spinner tank thingy without spilling. It's fun to use. The only part that made me cuss was getting the digital wiring connected. Old man hands, farsightedness, and tiny connections were not conducive to a good time, but we persevered. Everything works perfectly. Good product.

For what I need, it’s okay. The only issue is the chronometer—it’s very basic. It turns on but doesn’t display any numbers during the exercise; it just stays static. Assembly is simple—just follow the pictures, as there’s no video tutorial included. If you’re looking for a pretty basic exercise machine and you’re not too picky, it’s worth it.
