I would like to say this is the most amazing item I have ever received. I am going to be a bit descriptive in my review. I am doing this just so that everyone will understand a little bit about the item a little bit better than some of the reviews. Firstly, I want to let you all know that I am a Massage Therapist and I give this massager a 5-star rating. Secondly, I had noticed that some of the reviews had complained that the massager does not massage the way they wanted it to, the heat not being able to shut off, and it doesn't go down to the lumbar region. Let me explain that as a massage therapist this item is not meant to give you a "Shiatsu-like" massage. It is only meant to give you a vibration massage as it explained in the description. Next, I am 5 ft 3" woman who weighs 230 lb. This massager is not meant to massage your lower lumbar area. It is more for your cervical and thoracic areas which gives a nice vibration in the shoulders, the neck, and the middle back area. The vibration is strong enough as if you are getting a Swedish massage. Next, for those who complained about the heat and not being able to turn it off? You can turn off the key and still have a massage. The lower button that has the little squiggly lines all you have to do is press it once and it turns it off and you can still have a massage. Personally I do not know what people expect from this massager, but I truly love it and I would recommend it 1000% to pay the money and get it. It is not the type of massage that has the rollers that are pressing in and moving around which is like Shiatsu massage it is a vibration massage which is like a Swedish massage. It's nice and light but it's still hard enough that you can feel it and it will loosen your muscles. The heat as it explains will not heat up like a heating pad. The heat temperature is a warming heat. It will heat up to 130 degrees. I received this item last night and as soon as I opened it I couldn't stop using it, it was amazing! It heated up very quickly, distributed heat evenly and officently, the massager part is very soothing and relaxing and definitely helps with stiff sore muscles. I kept turning it back on as soon as it shut off. Like all heating pads as a safety feature it shuts off after 30 minuets and I quickly turned it right back on because it felt good to have that relief of back pain. I even had to fight my cat off because she kept wanting to lay on top of my shoulders for the warmth 🤣, I didn't want cat hair all over the black material. Whenever I had to get up you can easily just unplug the one section of the heating pad so you don't have to undo wearing it, or unplug it from the wall which is very convenient, it works sitting up, I did find it works better if your leaning into it though so the pressure is rougher (lean back into the cushions on the couch or lay back on the pillows in bed) It is very comfortable, you don't have to buckle it but you can so it stays in place better. LIKE- furry-like softness of material on the inside, outside material is also soft and not abrasive, easy to manipulate, light contraption, massage works very well (my favorite feature), heat is at a wonderful temp. and works well with the massage movements, does bring comfort and ease of pain. I suffer from muscle strain and tension in upper back, neck areas, and mainly shoulders, also upper arms. I like that the straps are elastic stretch so they are comfortable around your body-snugly tight but not uncomfortably tight. DISLIKE - it is a little big for my frame so to get the massage and heat on my shoulders I have to keep holding/pulling down the front so that it fit snugly on my shoulders and I can feel the massage and heat, straps could fit a little more snugly around my body. Suggestion: maybe having various levels/settings for straps to fit the various body frames instead of one level. would be a great idea Overall, a great product! I read alot of reviews before I make major purchases and was a bit nervous wondering if the reviews were really true- OH MYY Goodness!! This is a longer review - but worth knowing the facts! I was recently in bad accident (knocked by car into a telephone pole after a full 360 spin) and now on disability with limited income- and in chronic pain every day - THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING I ordered Jan 1 had it in my hands Jan 3rd and have used it every day since! I LOVE IT Heats up fast! Not overly hot - a good comfortable warm (could be a tiny bit warmer but I put a robe or a blanket over it and it makes it near perfect! The MASSAGING IS AWESOME! YES AWESOME I am glad I opted for this one with 4 places that massage and love the different setting options - Comfort- I didn't even notice the straps were elastic in the description- and didn't plan on using them- I was wrong-this was great designing as it makes it comfortable like you don't even know you have them on and it keeps everything positioned good and it stays put if you have to get the remote or my reading glasses or whatever (regular heating pad would fall off and then I would have to bend over to pick it up and reposition what a pain) not with this - Using other areas-I like wearing it normal and the magnetic clasp really hold it in place around my neck- I have also just laid it on my legs or abdomen and it is VERY soft and relieves stiffness and achy muscles in my legs and relieves tummy issues- Comfort- most heating pads or blankets are weird feeling with the wires inside being an issue - This is so soft and I cant not feel anything but COMFORT! I wish I could wear this while doing chores! I am already looking at other products from Snailax ! Treat yourself to this - you will NOT regret it! ... show more
