This is a VERY expensive litter box but after having it for a few months it was absolutely worth every penny. PROS: -never have to scoop a litter box again -weighs your cats every time they go potty -tells you when the waste bin is full so you dont even need to check (mine fills about once a week with 2 cats) -almost completely eliminates smell (obviously in the few minutes after a #2 you'll smell it but once its sifted the scent is gone, my visitors tell me my place never smells like cat waste nor litter) -even my timid, nervous stray rescue uses this without issue CONS: -very pricey and expensive -its pretty big, I had to rearrange my set up a bit to find a spot this wouldnt look awkward in and it still looks a bit awkward -if you do not have access to a hose, this is not fun to clean. i live in an apartment so I clean mine in my shower and then I clean my shower immediately after (but you only have to clean it ~once a month) -does not automatically sift litter nor weigh your cats if you have it on carpet (easy work around is just put a small board under it or one of those computer chair mats, thats what I do and mine works perfectly) Overall it is expensive but worth every penny. My apartment never smells, my cats never have to step in dirty litter, and I don't have to scoop cat waste multiple times a day. I recommend this to all of my fellow kitty parents, you will not regret the purchase and you will never be able to go back to a normal litter box.

I debated a long time as to whether this would be worth the cost but when I returned from a short trip and saw that my roommate never cleaned her litter box I decided I had no choice. I watched a few Youtube videos comparing The Loo to the whisker and a few other brands, I read lots of reviews on Amazon of the different types available and decided on Leo’s Loo Too! I received the Loo four days earlier than the scheduled delivery date! The packaging was very good and sturdy upon taking the item out. I could hear some rattling inside, so I inspected the Loo I found the problem and needless to say I was a little disappointed, but upon inspection I thought this could be fixable, but I want to contact customer service at Smarty Pear to go over it with them. Thank goodness I did. I received a response that day to my email and assigned a customer service rep named Jacklin. Jacklin gave me several options on how to proceed and I chose to fix the issue as I was assured if the fix didn’t work, it could be replaced. The picture is of my kitty Blue helping me with the issue I was able to fix the problem and the Loo is working perfectly! Jacklin answered all my emails timely stayed in touch to make sure things were going OK. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO IMPORTANT Leo’s LooToo it is whisper quiet, which Blue appreciates as she used it right away but when it started to clean after she used it, she was very confused as to how the ground under her litter was moving had it been loud and disturbing I don’t know that she would’ve warmed up to it as quickly as she has. I am very pleased with my purchase AND THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM JACKLIN AT SMARTY PEAR!! I highly recommend Leo’s Loo Too!

I don't think there's a perfect automatic litter box or a perfect solution to dealing with cat waste, but the Leo Loo Too does a pretty decent job, it's better than scooping, and I'd say it is worth the money. Pro's: - Modern design and easy to the eyes with color options - Stable, secure, with a safety sensor design aka cat friendly - Minimizes litter tracking compared to other litter box options - Large waste drawer with deodorizer section and/or bag holder if you want - Charcoal activated deodorizer options some included, others sold separately - Decently quiet - Easy fluid App design/user interface - Easy set up - Great packaging protecting the product during the shipping process - Personal pro: Entry and internal dimensions are big enough for my 1.5 year old cat to comfortably enter and turn around. If you have a cat on the bigger side like a full grown Maine coon you should look elsewhere. - Easy cleaning when it comes to daily or weekly waste dump or quick wiping Cons: - If you have a cat on the larger side ie Maine coon, the entry and internal dimensions will be too small for your cat. - Some dirty litter finds it's way to the bottom underneath the waste bin and is hard to clean out. - Does not work well with just any type of brands of clumping litter. In my personal experience, I was using arm and hammer and the horrid smell was not well controlled. But now I use tidy cats and no longer smell anything. So be careful what litter you choose to use. I'd also steer clear from any litter that is on the finer side. It creates more tracking. - Personal con: Large and heavy. I'm a weak small lady weighing 95 IBS at 5'1 and need help when washing/deep cleaning the globe. - Despite the amazing well packaged product, the bottom of my Leo Loo Too was cracked (just a bit, nothing that would be detrimental to the function or usage)

UPDATE: They sent me 3 of the "new and improved" buttons that are supposed to stop the pee on them from destroying them, the first one fell apart putting it in. Got the second one in ok and the loo does what it did before the button got peed on again, you have to leave ot off till it needss dumped and then stand there and press the button off and back on about 10 times to get it to finish dumping because it keeps stopping. DO NOT BUY THESE, THEY WILL MAKE YOU ANGRAY AND CRAZY, eventually. UPDATE: Now having 5 of these, the last one of which also stopped working after getting cat pee on the button under the opening which I replaced and it still does not work anymore after 6 months, I have to say that there are NONE of these "auto" litter boxes that is worth the money spent on them. They ALL go bad eventually because apparently NONE of them have electronics that are ready for prime time long term use. I have been thinking about taking this last one that no longer functions at all and 3d printing a crank handle, drilling a hole through the front and converting it to manual operation. That way we could just turn the drum manually once in the morning and once at night and be done with the whole "THIS DAMN THING IS NOT WORKING AGAIN" scenario... Having had 6 or 7 Litter Robots and one of Loo 1s, I can safely say that the Loo2 here is the best of the bunch. Take it out of the box, put litter and a bag in it, plug it in and you are good for at least a week. The drawer is FIXED because the Loo1s drawer sucked getting it back in the unit, and the drawer is larger too. Win win. As for the litter robots, I will never purchase another one. SO tired of all the misfunctions of the rotating egg, from stopping in different positions and blinking forever, to every other electrical confusion they all seem to have. Yes, maybe 2 of the 6 or 7 I have had actually have not had an issue, all the rest, at times, have made me want to kick them down the driveway so the garbage guy could take them away. Loo 2 needs a trade in program...I'd trade six of the robots for 3 of the Loo 2s. The ONLY thing that the litter robot has that is still superior is the way the bag is held in its drawer, otherwise, they are hands down the loser to the Loo 2s. UPDATE. Ordered another one and 10 days later still waiting. 10 days shipping from Amazon is unacceptable. UPDATE: Now having 4 of these, I have changed the stars to 1. Not because the item is bad, but because I have discovered a flaw that may or may not affect you. IF you have a cat that prefers to do his peeing head first into the Loo, you will have pee running down the front of this unit. At first it was a inconvenience...had to take the spacer out of the front of the drawer so pee could be cleaned where you could not get to. But eventually, the button in the front the makes everything work must have gotten moisture in it and no longer does anything on a 1 year old unit. So BEWARE, do not keep this in an area with a cat that will not go into it and then turn around facing outward to do his business.

Love the litter box, super quiet, connects to google home, we are a smart home family so that addition is the reason we decided to go with Leo's Loo Too instead of the litter robot. Now I do not know if we made the right choice. I have done DEEP cleanings. Replaced carbon filters. After 3 days the smell in the room is very pungent and bad even though the litter tray is not even close to being full. However, after reading my review they reached out to me. They really catered to me: sending me a new one to see if it was better. After I tried the new one and the odor was still an issue they just let me donate it to an animal shelter. I really wished my nose wasn’t as sensitive to smells because overall the product worked great! I loved especially that it connects to google home. 5 stars because their customer service is seriously top notch! I am super grateful.

Is this happening to anyone else? The cat litter arrived on the 4th of August, which i was pretty excited about since it came 4 days earlier than what it had stated. Ripped open the package to see it was already assembled for me so i really didnt have to do anything besides place it in its spot that I've cleared up. Plugged the cable in, added clean and fresh kitter along with some old litter from their old cat litter box and they got used to it pretty quickly, the litter rotated and cleaned out what was inside of it, i thought everything would be good. Until now, Ever since that day this cat litter has not been doing great. I downloaded the Smarty Pear app to be able to moniter my babies, i've been struggling to pair it up to the app, i followed the instructions, reset even unplugged and re-plugged it back in, still nothing, I was able to pair it up today which failed since a pop up stated "Failed to Connect"/"Connection Timed Out". My kitten used it and i noticed it sounded weird so i took a video and this is when i captured it being stuck while trying to rotate which it didnt do that the day it arrived, ive had to hand clean it today obviously since i dont want my babies using dirty litter but im kind of disappointed, $700 down the drain. Im still trying to figure out whats wrong with it but ill update if anything.

I got this litterbox almost a 1.5 years ago and it literally changed my life. I have 2 cats and cooping litter is no longer a dreaded daily chore as I just have to pick up the leo drawstring litterbox bags and tie them up and toss them (a process that literally takes 30s). This litterbox also keeps smell in so well compared to a traditional litterbox. If you keep up with routine cleans, the drawer stays clean and fresh. Also, I noticed that this litterbox saves me a lot of litter, as the tray to hold the litter does not require as much depth as a traditional litterbox and my two cats manage to keep the litter inside this one. Around the 1 year mark my litterbox started to auto clean itself constantly even when my cats hadn't used it, and I reached out to the customer support team and they were PHENOMENAL! They responded so quickly and tried to work out the problem with me with detailed and easy to follow steps. In the end they even sent out a replacement base as we figured that the issue was a hardware issue. This customer service really made me feel so comforted in knowing that I made the right decision to splurge on this litterbox.

Overall Leo’s Loo Too is a great product. I recently adopted a kitten and she took to the Loo right away. I like that it eliminated my need to be a litter box scooper. Evidently, the UV sanitizer light and the charcoal filters do the job, as I have not been able to detect any “smells” from the Loo. I do question the accuracy of the weight detection since the weight varies with each use. It is reasonably quiet, attractive, a real time and labor saver. Thank you Smarty Pear for a wonderful product. For the price I hope it lasts many years.
