This walking pad works fine for getting my steps in while I'm at my desk, but I've noticed a significant discrepancy in the workout data it tracks compared to my Samsung fitness watch. I've used my watch consistently for about a year across various treadmills, and the readings have always been fairly consistent. However, the information displayed on this treadmill's console and its connected app is significantly different. I specifically chose this walking pad because it advertised the ability to track my activity through an app so I wouldn'thave to relyvon swinging my arm, which is important when I'm working and typing. While it does allow for this type of tracking, I'm concerned about the accuracy of the data it provides. If precise tracking is important to you, you might want to compare its readings with another device. Other than that, it's a nice walking pad for the basic walking and not loud at all. The speed adjustments are gradual and very safe for walking while working at the computer. The remote is very responsive, i can control it from atop my desk. I use this thing, ya hear me?! I walk 30 minutes about every other day at 4.0 mph. I lube up the belt with the product provided about once a quarter maybe. This thing keeps going. I had to adjust the belt once but other treadmills I have and had also need that care and adjustment.
