I traveled 4 weeks after getting my wisdom teeth removed and I thought I was gonna be fine and could eat my normal hard chewy foods again which I could but the dentist didn’t tell me the holes would take 6 weeks to close so these soft bristle toothpicks helped soo much if I ever happened to get food caught in those gums. And my gums are closed/healed now but I will still use this to get into the spots in between my tooth that I thought were clean but surprisingly weren’t. Just remember your gums are sensitive. I did notice slight bleeding just because of the tiny bristles really getting in between my teeth. When I felt the toothpick snug and I couldn’t push anymore, even if I couldn’t go all the way through the back of my teeth I still took the toothpick out just to not upset my gums too much. If you are someone like me then you're keen on good dental hygiene. What I did not know is that it's hard for our toothbrushes to reach our back molars. Even with regular dental floss or a water flosser, it was hard to clean my back teeth! That's where these came in handy. Their sturdiness of them is good unless your teeth are close together, then they will not hold up very well. They are perfect for travel, and I take them everywhere just in case I need a quick fix. 10/10 would recommend it. ... show more

I have tried numerous other Dental Picks over the years, but the GUM - 6323R Soft-Picks Original Dental Picks are my absolute favorite, for a number of reasons. I had purchased the GUM curved design pick but the aren't as effective as these straight ones that have a thinner diameter (these are a bit sturdier then the curved ones as well but soft so they don't hurt your gums like a lot of the other picks do). I do own some sturdier plastic picks that I only need use infrequently if food gets stuck, for everyday use these 6323R Soft picks are the absolute best (especially if you have sensitive teeth and gums and don't like using dental floss like I do not, I use these picks in conjunction with a Gum Tooth brush that has a rubber pick at end and also an Oral Water Irrigator that is battery powered.. ... show more

I don't use any other toothpick other than these. And they come in a carrying case that one can keep with them no matter where they go. Once I tried them, I don't use anything else. They are good for several uses, unless extra force is needed and the stem is bent. But then, if that is the case, then probably the only thing which would work would be dental floss. ... show more

i would not have bought this if knew this was from Gums. Already threw away the other Gum product because they did not accept returns. The prongs of this product did not collapse on second tooth. Way better than the other product that looks like a sewing needle. Do not buy that version - they wont let you return it ... show more

I've been using these for a few years now and I prefer this brand over others. All the different brands I've used tend to fall apart quickly, but these are a bit sturdier. They do get a bit flimsy about halfway through my teeth though. I like that they come with a little case to hold them. I use them for travel and just to keep them clean in the drawer. These are great if you have any permanent orthodontic stuff. I have a permanent metal bar on the backs of my front teeth that makes flossing difficult so I use these in addition to regular flossing. ... show more
