The media could not be loaded. 5-in-1 Keyless Entry Door Lock, Smart Door Lock with App Control This smart deadbolt door lock is perfect for families with kids/teens !! A another lost key now is a thing of the past and just a touch away via smart connected app/Bluetooth entry (phone) just invite family members from administrator account to “add on as user”. Now when they arrive home from school, their phone is the key! And being that it is Bluetooth activated only, it’s as smart as it needs to be without going all the way and opening up unlock/lock features via Wi-Fi. (So if you’re wanting to give unlock and lock commands via web (app) this is not the smart lock you’re looking for) invited users Bluetooth (phone) or one of the other 4 ways of entry. Physical key, key fob , Touch pad passcode , finger print. Bluetooth device (phone) I especially like the key fob , (2 included) just bring it up near your lock (just as you would badge into your room at a hotel , or tap to pay) and it unlocks). No waiting for the touch pad to wake up , finger print scanner acts a little finicky (hit or miss) or find old school physical key that you have to insert into the deadbolt (which seems to be for emergency only (batteries dead) I love all the smart lock functions, it has everything I wanted (mainly for the notifications that the door has been accessed) (notifications via app) but I’m not particularly to pleased with the Rectangular box face place design, the visual curb appeal is somewhat lacking. Fingerprint scanner is very particular, and the audio voice is a little loud until you disable/ Mute. (Which can be done on app or touchpad) Also I’m a bit disappointed with the outdated means of powering / takes deposable AA+ batteries (device itself isn’t rechargeable) but that’s okay. Overall I do love this device and all the features! The conveniences outweigh all the little minor drawbacks , Kind of easy install, great instruction manual, setup with your phone through the app, share access with family (by invite only) , battery life indicator, notifications of user entries, feels strong and secure , knocked a star off due to craftsmanship (see video) may just be the unit I received.     • Compact, easy to install and fingerprint ID isn't so picky
We have installed so many of these smart locks to replace all the various keys to the house that it's gotten a lot easier. This one was particularly easy to install. It's smaller than some of the others, has fingerprint as well as four other ways to unlock. The passwords are getting so long on these locks with six digits that they are impossible to remember. I don't like have a single key to all the doors to my house because if I lose it, a stranger will have access to every door. I learned that from experience. Locks aren't fool proof but they buy you time. I don't know how durable the lock will be in the long run but it is well made and we installed it on a door that has little protection from sun and rain, trusting the vendor's claims that it was weather resistant. The fingerprint id on this lock isn't as finicky as some of the others we have installed. On the first one we installed, I have to make sure my thumb is clean, in the right angle, etc., or it won't let me in. I've been locked out after three tries and had to wait for it to reset before trying again. This lock has more advanced fingerprint features and recognizes it from any angle. ... show more

So I was kinda torn between giving this 4 stars or 5 stars... I choose 5 stars because it's literally a gorgeous piece of smart home tech. The setup is not that complicated, but if you take your time and follow the instructions you will be fine with the installation. First most important note to make... Once you install it, you may find that once you put the batteries in, and LOCK the door, it will say "Door lock opened" and be like what?! I just locked it why is it saying that... do not worry... you can change this switch in the app... basically this is because it does not know if your doorlock is on the right or left side of the door... so this shall save you some time compared to me where I took it off a couple times, thinking I had done something incorrectly... don't worry it's fine. Next, setting up your fingerprints, key fob, and pass code are relatively easy and if you just follow the instructions and the app, this part is straight forward. So where I struggled with giving 4 stars is the app. I am confused because it seems like it's bluetooth only and not wifi app... so not truly a smart home product. My struggle is that if I am away, I can not unlock the door for a guest remotely via the app, because the app needs a bluetooth connection to press button and open/close the lock. The workaround for this is that you can generate a one time pass key and send that as an SMS to your guest to get in. A minor challenge and not a frequent issue, so because of that I keep it 5 stars. The fingerprint pad works great.. I used to type in a keypad a few numbers then wait for the door to unlock... old school. With this lock, it's a quick easy unlock to get in just with your fingerprint. Another nice feature that is set with the app is the door will auto lock after it's opened within 10 seconds. So once you unlock via fingerprint, walk in, and close your door, it's going to lock itself for you. Pretty cool feature! My only real complaints are the app and not being wifi. It seems there is a subscription option to get sms messages about your doorlock status while you are away and not connected to bluetooth. But it's kind of odd that I can't see if my door is locked in the app when I leave. I'm still working to fix the notifications and logs, they were working, but seems like that is needing to be fixed. I tried reaching out to their support via the app feedback page but have not heard back yet. It says it connects to alexa, but doesn't seem to connect to alexa. So there are still a few things I'm fine tuning with this door lock. It's sophisticated, it's advanced, it's modern, it has fingerprint sensor which works very well, key fobs are awesome, one time passcode is great... auto lock is great... just the app is my main sticking point. Overall I do highly recommend this fingerprint doorlock and it seems they are updating the app, so I'm sure those kinks will get ironed out, hopefully. ... show more
