UPDATE, MORE DAMAGE FOUND, UPDATE Creality did not listen to me the first time and blamed Amazon for the shipping. AGAIN, no box damage, no exterior unit damage. upon unboxing noticed that both shipping brackets broken, the and noticed a bent spring. We contacted the manufacturer right away. Told them I wanted to hold on the assembly just incase there might be more damage. Creality said Amazon was responsible for the delivery damage but this was not a delivery issue, and they did not explain about the bent spring? WELL the metal that mounts to the bottom plate are broken, see the white part on the photos. Again this is NOT a shipping issue that is clear. This POS is unusable and if the customer service is this bad I don't expect much correspondence. FIRST ENTRY Upon arrival, the delivery mounts are broken, an internal spring is bent, and they want to blame it on Amazon delivery. This damage was pre-delivery. Before putting it all together, I wanted to get some feedback to know if I should repack it and send it back or try it. There is no box damage, no external unit damage, and do you know what it takes to bend a spring? ONE AND DONE. I guess I will have to pay for any damages because packing this thing will take an engineer. Their response was to send me some video on assembly and blame Amazon for the "delivery" damage. If it was packed this way how do I know what else is wrong, bottom plate no secured either

I followed the instructions from the provided manual. Setup was easy. Just needed to make sure to save the estepp settings and my 3d prints look perfect now.

I wanted to upgrade my Creality Ender 3 to a direct extruder from the Bowden stock and this kit had everything I need to make the conversion. The direct extruder assembly is rock solid and the installation was simple enough with the included instructions. I performance of this extruder totally transforms how you print and the settings in Cura need to be adjusted as well as a resetting of the offset. Once that is complete I was ready to print and was not disappointed at the results and were much more precise than the Bowden setup I had.
