This lock looks nothing like the advertised lock and does not have a fingerprint scanner. I have two other keyless entry locks installed around the house and this was the most difficult one to install. It requires a 2 1/16" hole and also requires the inside plate to be screwed into the door. This might not work for everyone and for renters. The instructions are poorly written and I eventually just ditched them and figured it out on my own how to install it. The instructions to program the lock are also very poor. I still have no idea how to set the master code. I randomly pressed random buttons out of frustration and by dumb luck I was able to set a new master code, but I have not been able to do it again. Well at least it works for now. I will say that now that it is installed and I was able to set the code, it works pretty well and looks pretty good. I like how quickly it locks and unlocks. If I had to do it again, I would definitely look for something that is easier to install and set up. ... show more

    • Title description is misleading. It will not fit a 1" door.
Title description implied it would fit a slimmer 3/4" to 1" door. I was thinking it would fit my patio storm door, but it's for a standard thickness door, I almost tried to use it for my back door, until I found out it wouldn't fit the standard size deadbolt hole in the door and requires an oversized hole, as well as screwing into the physical door. While mulling over enlarging the hole to install it I noticed there is a lot of plastic parts, and lost confidence in the durabilty/security of the lock. The outside case is a thin metal, that would attach to a steel plate on the inside. Rest of the inside part of the lock is all plastic. It looks nice, but didn't fit the use I ordered it for. Also installation isn't a easy retrofit in my case, would have required getting a hole saw to cut clean without the aid of a pilot bit guiding it, doable but not easy to those without expierence doing so. The title "door width" description does not match the items description pictures. The installation instructions also appeared to be a bit vague. The price is too good to be true, and failed to meet my expectations and intended use. There is also no fingerprint reader as per the item description/picture. It's misleading on multiple fronts, and will not be installed on my home. ... show more

I like the lock and how easy it is to use. The reason it only got 3 of 5 stars is the directions and installation instructions are absolutely terrible. I have been installing new locks, including deadbolts for several years as needed. This is the first electronic lock I have installed. The instructions were clearly not translated well to English. It took way longer to figure it out because of the terrible directions than it should have. I am pretty mechanically minded, so I was able to, but someone with no mechanical background would not ever be able to. ... show more

Good lock set that works as good as one that I paid 4 times the amount! The lock is not difficult to install. The lock works with a code, finger print and has a key. The lock set looks great and works well. I installed 3 months ago and have not had any issues. The handles are super easy to work. Would be great for older people with arthritis. My only issue, as with any item that requires digital access, recording my finger print on an app in a country known for not protecting data and allowing nefarious criminal activity - now they have your finger print! Needless to say, I just use the key pad. ... show more
