The instructions are not clear at all. I have many fingerprint digital lock in my house but this one lacks common sense instructions. Good luck trying to find the "set-up code"!!! What a joke! Ckose to an hour trying to find the "set of code", and trying to pair it with the app, I just gave up. I'm done!! Just imagine if you have to reset this thing again 6 months to a year down the road, and now you don't have the instructions on how to set it up again. No way, I'm not causing myself no more headaches. I don't understand why you need to download two apps to get this thing working. Everything should be in one app!!! The only reason I decided to get another brand other than eufy is because eufy does not have digital locks with handles (unbelievable). Maybe I should give eufy a call!! Yoy get what you pay for. I'm sending this thing BACK, I'M DONE! The person who's selling this product should seriously think about getting a professional to reprint their instructions and put the "SET-UP CODE" in a place where it can be EASILY FOUND, like a sticker in the lock itself or in the front or back of the INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!! I don't feel like going for a treasure hunt when I'm trying to install something. I packed everything and put it back in the box and I STILL have NO IDEA where the setup code is.... smh One more thing, good luck trying to understand their address, I took a picture of their address and you tell me if their address looks legit? This is a great lock and I recommended it to everyone. But buyer beware, at first I was sent a used lock with missing pieces. I had to send it back and get a replacement, which when I did I was given a new one with all the pieces. Make sure to CHECK YOURS AND MAKE SURE ALL THE PIECES ARE THERE!!! If they aren’t SEND IT BACK!!! Other then that issue the lock is wonderful and works great, fairly easy install. Just make sure you read the instructions and download the app. ... show more
