We installed this 18-foot padded pool liner recently, and overall it’s a great addition to our pool setup. The padding adds a nice layer of comfort underfoot and helps smooth out the surface beneath the pool, which definitely makes a difference when you’re walking or sitting inside. That said, the liner isn’t as thick as I expected—it offers some cushioning but not a heavy-duty padding feel. If you’re placing it over rough ground, you might still feel some bumps unless you prep the base really well. Still, for the price and ease of installation, it’s a solid upgrade. It looks great, fits perfectly, and does its job well enough for a comfortable swim.

I was skeptical about purchasing a pool pad because the material is only felt. After opening the package and laying it out on the ground, I am impressed. No the felt material is not thick but not thin. It is thick enough to serve its purpose. I really like it. It makes the bottom of the pool softer to walk on and doesn't create lumps, we use sand under our pool. I cant wait to put together my landscaping around the outside of the pool now.

I purchased the Shop Square 24-Foot Pool Liner Pad for my 22-foot above-ground pool because I wanted a bit of extra coverage around the edges for added protection. I’m really glad I sized up; the fit size worked out perfectly, leaving a nice buffer zone that gives me peace of mind that the liner edges are well protected. The build quality of this pad is excellent. It’s made from a very thick, tough geotextile material that feels sturdy underfoot and provides a reliable barrier between the pool liner and the ground. So far, it has done a great job preventing any sharp rocks or debris from poking through. In terms of durability, I can tell this pad will hold up well for many seasons. It lay flat with no bunching or tearing during installation, and it seems resistant to wear, even when we moved the pool slightly to adjust placement. The look is clean and simple, nothing flashy, but exactly what you want for an underlay: functional and neat without adding bulk. Overall, if you want a liner pad that provides excellent protection, has solid build quality, and gives you a little extra coverage beyond your pool’s edge, I highly recommend sizing up like I did. So far, this has been a smart investment to help extend my liner’s life and keep my pool area safer.

Very annoyed with this product. It’s about 10” shy in width and not even close in the length. It is an egg shape leaving a great deal of uncovered areas around the”corners”. Very upset with this purchase. It’s incredibly thin for the $100 plus I spent. The company was very nice to work with. They refunded my money with no questions asked. I would have really liked to get the liner but I’m happy with the end result.

This thing is thinner than the felt I use for crafting. Wish I could return it but it got covered in dirt and leaves when we spread it out. It is too thin to do anything. Not sure how this is supposed to help...

Bought this when we upgraded our pool. The ground cover is just a thick piece of felt. Was expecting a better, thicker pad. Save your money on this item. I’ll use moving blankets next time!
