What was sent to me was model UV700 blue. ZU785 purple in my opinion was the best shark model ever made. But this must be the new replacement model which I must say I do like. It’s lighter and the power cord is longer. I have 2 German Shepards and this vacuum is a must! This vacuum is the best. For hardwood, the ligh shines just right so you never miss another piece of pet hair on your seemingly clean floors! The carpet function is also amazing and pulls up so much dirt and dust you cannot see with the naked eye! The special anti hair roller brushes are amazing especially with long pet hair! The attachments make getting under your couch, cleaning your sofa, ceiling corners, ANYWHERE a breeze. Have had this for a few months but hands down the best vacuum I’ve owned!     • Hasn't Clogged. Amazing Suction.
I bought this from BJs actually but figured I'd leave a review for others to see here. I went from a Dirt Devil Pet vacuum to this. It is amazing. The suction is extremely powerful, every day it is filled with dust my other vacuum wouldn't have got. I have 3 cats, 2 long haired and they shed a lot. This vacuum has never clogged and the rollers stay fairly clean. Some hair does accumulate but the self cleaning part eventually cleans it off. The hose leading from the brushes into the reservoir does have many bends and turns but nothing has got stuck for me (yet). In one spot where you'd expect things to get stuck, they put a little door you can open to clear any obstructions. It has a suction control at the top of the handle. I found this useful to doing area rugs. The suction is so great that it'll lift the area rug off the floor with the vacuum. You turn the suction down and it doesn't pull up on the rug. I'm not sure if the people saying this clogs a lot are like putting it to extreme tests or only vacuuming once a month but I don't see this thing clogging easily. ... show more

I loved this vacuum, after having a Dyson with a brush roll that constantly melts. This Shark lived up to everything I needed for one year. I loved it so much, I bought a second one just like it for my second home. The brush roll does an excellent job keeping hair from wrapping around it. However, after less than a year, my brush roll is slipping. It sounds like a belt is slipping on the roller and it has a slight burning smell. I tried to replace the belt, but there is no way to replace it, and Shark does not sell a replacement belt. They want you to buy an entire new vacuum head for $90 plus shipping. I am super frustrated! It should be a simple fix, but it is not. It has a 5 year warranty, but it only covers the motor, so buyer beware! Pros: great suction, easy to move around furniture, nice hair free roller, does a great job on hard floors, the second roller does a fine job polishing. The accessories are great and easy to use while moving around the house. Cons: Looking for a new vacuum in less than a year. Non-replaceable roller belts. Useless warranty.     • Clogs quickly
This vacuum exists in a perpetual state of being clogged. Hair, fur, debris, and dirt accumulate in a wad right behind the roller brushes or in the hose, at the handle. This is where the hose bends. There is no easy way to get a clog dislodged here. This is not the vacuum to buy if you have pets.

This vacuum works amazing on hardwood floors, so smooth and gentle while in motion. It picks up so much, we have a Siberian husky and a Dalmatian, it gets everything, the power is incredible, never clogs, cleans easily. It cleans rugs great with the power rug mode, it is just is too strong on one of my shag area rugs, I use a different vacuum on that one. ... show more
