I've tried the cd player and the sound is great. The bass is wonderful and the treble just needed a little adjustment. I miss not having a remote control but is not a big deal. Bluetooth connectivity was easy to setup. I have not tried the cassette player but I hope I can get I good sound. It's very easy to setup. I'm buying one for my sister.

I bought this boombox so I could listen to my collection of CD's in my workshop. Very soon after I started using it the CD cover stopped popping open when I pressed the corner. It became necessary to pry it open with the end of my finger. No big deal. I waited quite a long time to try the cassette player, much longer than the time window allowed to return the unit. My fault, stupid me. Yesterday I decided to try the cassette and much to my surprise the cassette door would not open. I read all the instructions, no secret instructions. I check the door carefully for some tape, no tape. The door wasn't lined up properly. So I lined it up and tried again, no luck. I tried the end of the finger trick and it did open. I put a cassette in and tried to close the door, no luck. Can't return it. The cassette doesn't work. I'm expecting the CD cover to fail someday. I am out $72. My fault but it is still LAND FILL JUNK.

The unit is really nice. CD's sound great, the radio reception is good for the area we are in. Rural. The volume is okay but I'm used to a little louder and more bass. I would recommend this, for sure, and would buy it again.

Received boombox in a timely manner, delivered by UPS. Problem with this particular boombox is that I was NOT ABLE to tune in on any AM or FM station. Tried plugging in separate outlets, moving radio in different locations, and moving Antena on different points, but no reception, just total static. I did not attempt to use Cassette or CD. I am returning item, and have received immediate response by seller and Amazon. Thank you....
