My middle schooler put this together in an hour and he loves the massage function. It is sturdy and adjustable to be ergonomic for both of us. The seat cushion is a quite firm so that might not be great for long length of sit time.

The chair itself was not too difficult to put together. But, the padding is absolutely horrendous. There are pipes in the back of the chair that you feel all of the time. Putting your back in the chair means that you will hit two to three pipes. Also, the footrest is too small. So, reclining in the chair is also very uncomfortable. In addition, the bottom cushion setup has a fold line that rubs against your legs and thighs. This chair is not worth the amount of money that you are spending. Chair is nice and comfy dont get me wrong there, although it would have been better to add a way to tighten the messager and the NECK pillow Stitching came apart as I was putting it on the chair itself see picture. Dont bother calling Amazon unless you want to hear everything in the background or have them cup the mic and (Basically) yell in your ear due to the fact they dont know what how to use NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES, or how to turn up the sensitivity to only pic up their own voices. I bought this for needed back & neck support but I found the support pillows to be too hard for my liking and the height didn't work well with my 5'7 frame. As others have noted, the footrest is mediocre at best and not for anyone weighing over 100 lbs. (I weigh 150 lbs). It wasn't a "bad" chair but it definitely didn't work - I give it 4 stars because it would probably work well with someone 5'9 or taller who didn't need to use the footrest. I'm not a gamer - if you're looking for a decent high-backed "office" chair there are several really good ones on Amazon - I got one of those instead and it works great. ... show more
