Hard to beat for the price. Its a knock-off super hip L33T racing seat. Got it for girlfriend who has neck/shoulder issues because it puts support in the right places. It does that fine. Parts are cheap, misaligned, and made of the finest chinesium composites. These bolts will absolutely strip if you attempt to disassemble it. On the upside, it was super easy to assemble, though more assembly was required than I had expected. Only had to fight with a few hole alignment issues and hex bolt heads stripping as I tightened them. The arm rests are pretty flimsy. I'd be nervous to put much weight on them. Even using them to get up from the chair should probably be avoided. Otherwise its pretty solid-ish. The support and comfort are both pretty decent if you're looking for something with a little more neck and lower back support. Note: the person using it is 5'3". I'm 5'10" and it was fine, but on the small side. I had a car with leather racing seats of similar design, and these are about 3/4 to 7/8 scale. Not quite actual racing seat size. The footrest is fine, but a little wonky. It kinda hits on the upper part of your calf... which is... okay. For the price its pretty fair. It checks the boxes for what she needed and didn't break the bank. Looks fine in her home office. ... show more

I expected more from an item with a 4.4/5.0 stars based on close to 4,000 ratings. I'll give it a couple more days to see if I can adjust to it, but I'll probably end up returning it. The seat is extremely narrow. I don't have an overly large behind but it would have to be tiny to fit comfortably in between the raised areas along the sides of the seat. The back "cushion" (I'll get to that in a moment) makes it so you feel like you're sitting too far forward on the seat. Without the "cushion" the seat is so deep you have to lean forward to reach your desk, which negates the idea of lumbar support. The seat is also extremely hard. There's no give to it at all. I don't know what their definition of soft cushion is but it's definitely different from mine. It certainly looks cushy in the picture, but it's kind of like sitting on a board with a blanket laid over it. What they call a back cushion feels more like a rock to me. It is so hard and uncomfortable. It doesn't have any give to it and makes you feel like you're arching your back nonstop. I unzipped it to see what it was. It's a piece of hard foam. You can't even squish it with your hands unless you squeeze it super hard. Maybe if I jump up and down on it several times I can break the foam down enough to make it soft to lean against. The head cushion isn't placed properly and isn't adjustable. When I lean back, it's right in the middle of the top of my back. As another person mentioned, you have to adjust it up every time you move so it's back in the proper spot. The armrests aren't adjustable. To have the chair at the height I want it at, I can't roll up to my desk because the armrests hit the edge of it. I can't make it high enough for the handles to go over my desk so my only option is to sit too low so they'll go under the desk. They also feel very flimsy. It feels like any pressure put on them will snap them off. If you use them to brace yourself when you get up out of the chair, you can actually feel them bend. The "footrest" is awkward because you have to spread your legs wide, pull it out from under the chair, and then flip the resting pad so it's facing up. It also feels very flimsy. I keep expecting it to snap off when I rest my legs on it. Additionally, I wouldn't call it a footrest. You'd have to have super short legs for that to be a footrest. When it's fully extended it's a calf rest for me. Someone taller than me, it would probably be a knee rest. Lastly, you have to be sitting in the chair to adjust the height and once you lift that handle the chair drops like an elevator that just broke loose from the cables supporting it. It's very hard to press down with your hand. You have to put a lot of weight behind it to get it to lower. I suppose you could lean over it and use your knee while lifting the handle. ... show more

The chair arrived undamaged and took me less than 30 minutes to assemble . It is very sturdy and the wheels rotate easily . Some of the reviews mention that the strap on the neck support does not tighten enough to keep it stationary and I also found this to be the case . It does sag slightly but it is a simple matter to move it up where you need it . Just don't expect it to stay there for next time . The same thing goes for the lumbar support as you change the recline angle . Once in place it doesn't move , unless you do , and is extremely comfortable . The extendable foot rest works well and is comfortable for me , though it is definitely on the shorter side (I am 6' tall) . The recline is sturdy , works great and the chair is extremely comfortable . The armrests are not adjustable but they are at the perfect height for me as they are . If you are in the habit of resting your elbows on the armrests keep in mind that these are not padded and are a hard plastic . I rest my forearms on them so for me they are fine . I use this chair exclusively for gaming , both console and PC . This is great chair for the money and I would purchase it again . ... show more
