    • No more scooping for buried treasures!!
I love that I don't have to scoop litter anymore. This litter box works well and as intended. I own 14 cats ranging in size from 6 lbs to 24 lbs. My biggest fatty does fit inside but it's a tight spot. All the others have no issues. The unit isn't too tall to step inside, no stairs needed. The only complaint is that smaller clumps of litter come back into the box area. It's possible the Tidy Cat litter doesn't work best for this unit so I'll try a different brand in the future. Also, if the stool is soft like applesauce or mashed potato consistency it will get stuck on the inside grate, the grate to step out, and n the barrel itself. It's a little annoying having to clean it up but it's still better than having to scoop. I purchased 2 other brands to test which is the best for my cats but I haven't set them up yet. If all 14 cats use this box the reservoir will fill up in about 36 hours. It does not use a lot of litter so it's saving a lot of money there. Overall this box works well. Just a little cleaning to do when the litter bag is dumped. It's an easy unit to maintain and it's not an eyesore to look at. The safety feature keeps the unit from trapping a cat inside. Even when the opening is pointing skyward if a cat or kitten jumps inside the unit immediately stops then will restart once the cat/kitten jumps out. Besides looking nice, being functional, saving time and money, and being safe, the other bonus is my German Shepherd isn't "helping" me with scooping out the poop since it dumps the litter 30 seconds after a cat jumps out. I'm happy with the purchase and would purchase this unit again. It's definitely worth the money considering the price difference between this unit and the high-end units available. I recommend it even with the soft litter issues. Nothing is a perfect match so realistically it works as intended. ... show more

    • Cats in and out, just to see it operate
Waited a while to see how well this would work out. Cats love it. They will jump in and than jump out. And then sit there and watch the cat box cleaning process. When finished will jump in and out again. Of course the cat do their duties in the box. But a major fascination with its operations. There is a low hum when it operates, but not a distraction. And does a great job of clean the box. No smell and much easier to clean then the old box. And we have 3 dogs, so no cat nugget treats available for them to chow down on. But that was never a problem. Got a box with a top, cut a hole in the top so the cats could go in and out, but dogs could not get in. But the Automatic litter box is so much better. We are considering getting a second one. But still need a Box. Have one cat that sit atop of the box and does his duties into the hole. He was feral when we found him. But someone toilet trained him. Anyways, this is a nice basic Automatic litter box cleaner. No blue tooth or bells and whistles. Just a box that works perfectly, at a very good price. ... show more

My kitty is retired so she’s an inside kitty now. She used the litter box but the litter went everywhere and the odor wasn’t nice. This litter box wasn’t a problem for her. Used it right away. Then she would leave and sit and watch this machine do its job. I did learn to buy litter made for robot litter boxes. It dumps the do do into the sealed bag lined box under the robot and there is no smell. I put a new bag into the box once a week. It can go ten days but doing it every Sunday is easier to remember. Never thought I’d buy a robot for kitty but it makes my job so much easier ... show more

This box was amazing at first! I’ve had it for two months but only started using it 3 weeks ago. Was doing really well, but now it goes off as if a cat just left non stop. Reached out to seller via Amazon, haven’t heard a word! Overall the litter box isn’t worth it and apparently customer service does NOT care! Wasted dollars! ... show more
