I have had this automatic litter box for almost a month. I wanted to use it for a few weeks before giving my review. It is even better than I expected. It was easy to assemble, the app was easy to set up, and it works exactly as described. It is very quiet. There is no smell like you have with a regular litter box. The litter stays cleaner much longer. My cat used it as soon as the litter was placed in the box. It is made of a nice hard plastic. It has great stability, The app provides the weight of my cat and the frequency of use along with other useful information. It allows you to set deodorization time and to delay clean time. I definitely got a great product for a great price. I am very pleased and I highly recommend this product.

We have 4 cats ranging in weight from 8-16 lbs. I've been considering automatic for quite a while but was concerned about frightening the cats out of using the litter box. I tried other models which either didn't work out of the box or stopped working within the first month. This Ellenpent litter box comes almost entirely assembled, is large for my 16 pounder, moves slowly for the clean step, is aesthetically attractive set-up in a corner of the room, and is easy to control with the app. I did have trouble initially with the weight calibration step of the set-up (there is a two factor confirmation that your cat isn't in the box when the clean cycle starts - weight monitoring and an optical sensor across the door) but received fast support from EllenPent when I reached out for support. The issue was resolved by removing and reinstalling the app on my phone. The box itself is a great size - my biggest cat jumped right in when I set it up out of the box and sat in there like a playhouse before I put the litter in. I've also seen one of my smaller cats just hanging out in there. The door is big, so no contortion for the cat to enter, and there is a sturdy step which is smart. I haven't observed any litter sticking to the walls. The box is very, very quiet when it runs. I hear the litter rolling around more than any sound from the device itself. It was a factor to set a longer clumping time before cleaning to get good separation of the used and unused litter - I use 7m. The box is attractive and isn't an eyesore sitting in the living room. There is no appreciable odor - there is a cute feature of a small scent device that is inserted into a compartment with a computer fan on the side of the litter box - you can set a run time after use for the fan for air freshening. Now the Tuya app is a little weird and wants to control all of the wireless devices in your house, which I don't like - just focus on the litter box and get that right. There are just two buttons on the box itself - a cleaning button that can either do a litter clean or a complete litter dump for a whole device clean and also alerts you when the bin under the device is full, and a wireless indicator used for the initial connection of the litter box to the app where the majority of the controls are. On the app, you can select the type of litter being used, program the litter clumping time after the cat leaves the litter box, select the time the deodorizing fan runs, and select a clean cycle remotely, and set sleep hours during which the litterbox won't cycle. So overall very pleased - and certainly partially addresses a pain point of cleaning the litter boxes all of the time. I got a second one for my college daughter who has a cat in her small apt, so hoping this addresses the litter box cleaning issues for her and her 3 roommates. Thanks to Ellenpent for a good device.

We bought this for our older kitty who had FIC and required a super clean litter box. It took him forever to get used to and then he only used it occasionally - he was very picky. This may not be for cats who are picky and have an anxious personality. Our new kitten was raised on a robo litter box so she came to us ready to use it and it is an amaaaazing quality of life upgrade! I empty the box every day or two so that 1) I never have to use liners 2) it doesn’t stink up our room and 3) I can monitor my cat’s GI/urinary health closely. I love that I can track her weight and frequency in the app. My only (small) gripes are that you have to take the step off to empty the box, and sometimes it can be “sticky”/doesn’t glide in and out smoothly. On the one occasion I’ve done a deep clean, getting the sieve locked in again was a paaaaaain. I thought I was going to lose my mind, but eventually I did get it in there. Overall, this gets a 9.5/10 from me, especially because it’s so much cheaper than other versions. But giving it four stars for full transparency on the minor issues!

This litter box is ok for my needs. 1. Weight: I have a chunky cat necessitating a high weight limit. 2. Ease of cleaning: This litter box is very easy to take a part and clean. For me litter track is more dependent on the litter instead of the box. I do not like the design of the step and waste bin placement. The waste bin at the bottom does pull out easy. However, the waste bin slides underneath and the step goes in the slot above the waste bin and below the unit. And I noticed that the plastic bin, the actual plastic, is absorbing the odor of the waste. The sensor is placed where the slot for the step is. And there is a hole in the stair that it needs to align with. This can be frustrating. When I first put it toget, the sensor would just continuously signal the until that it was full and it would rotate to dump it. Now, I figured how to align everyting. The sensor doesn't trigger at all. So, the unit doesn't notify me it is full. I regularly check them anyway, my disappointment is the fact that it cost so much and this feature doesn't work. Scale: Another disappointment is the weight scale. It never reads the correct weight. It will show there a cat that weighed 1.6 pounds. Again, I wouldn't be disappointed, except this litter box was expensive for me. My cats use it sometimes but they do not prefer that litter box. I would not buy a second one. Again I am just disappointed because it was an experience purchase for. But you take a gamble when you buy something. Upate: 6/1/26: I am really done with this litter box already. I took it apart to clean it and now I can't get the sieve to go back into place. I tried foro 15 minutes but it wont go.

I’m super happy with this litter box. I’ve tried others before and it ended up being just more stuff and pieces to clean up. The app works great to change settings and check on usage. I have 3 cats. One of them is a senior, 21lb cat that has diabetes, so she recently had been having a lot of accidents outside the litter box. I have been having to wait for her to finish eating and take her directly to the litter box myself and put her in. Well, much to my surprise: She fits in this litter box comfortably, is able to turn around inside, and moves comfortably in there without her head or tail hanging out. She took to it immediately! I put her in the first time, and she just began using it like it’s all she’s ever known. And we keep catching her going all on her own in there too, she hasn’t hesitated one bit. Even with scooping daily, I know she hated stepping over even the smallest bit of clumps and poops, so I know this is much more comfortable for her. In addition to the size and functions, I really like how you can press a button in the app to make the entirety of the litter pour out into the pan for cleaning. I think that the pee that sticks to the sides of a litter box is what makes the smell linger even when scooped as thoroughly and often as possible. I have big metal litter boxes, and I’ve almost fainted so many times trying to lift them to clean them! This easily emptying for cleaning makes all the difference to me. Even just to wipe it down I know it’ll help a lot with odor control. My only complaint would be that since the entrance is so big and level with the layer of litter, they’re able to kick out a lot of it when digging in there. But I just used a litter mat and I pour it back in. Not a huge deal. I’m just happy they fit! The weight measuring is definitely not very accurate, but it makes no difference to me personally. That’s not what I need it for. Since my cats have two other litter boxes, I don’t have time to be keeping track of everybody’s bathroom schedule anyway. I will be keeping my other litter boxes in addition to this one, but I definitely plan to buy another one of these. It works great and the easiness of cleaning is so valuable. Some tips I’ve learned so far: -you can delay cleaning time (or awaiting cluster time) to more than 10 minutes via automations in the tuya app - I did use the bags it comes with, but I ended up using that, and waste basket liners from Costco that are just the thin clear bags over the litter bags. That way there’s less odor sticking to the tray, and easy and cheap to change out once or more a day. Overall, super happy with this!

The idea is great and has many safety features. It is a breeze to clean and maintain but it is not long enough for my domestic house cats to comfortably fit in and they will occasionally pee down the front since they can’t always fit in. Also, the opening is a bit short and it is rubbing the fur off the backs of two cats as they try to get in the short opening. I removed the top so they wouldn’t bump their heads trying to turn around inside it. I would give it full 5 stars if it was just a bit larger. I still like it quite a lot and it has better reliability and operation than the $500 litter robot I was previously using. It is VERY quiet!

I have been using this Ellenpent automatic litter box for a while now, and overall it has been a very positive experience. When I first received it, setup was straightforward with watch the setup video. It made the process easy to follow, and within a short time the unit was ready to use. I spent some time training my cat to get used to it, and she gradually became comfortable using it on her own. The automatic cleaning function is very convenient and consistently keeps the litter area tidy without needing frequent manual scooping. Being able to monitor and control the unit through the mobile app is also a nice feature and adds to the overall convenience. This is a smaller company so do not expect immediate response within minutes. That being said, they stand behind their product and are helpful with issues. I’ve had the box for about a month now and while the weight is not vet accurate, it is accurate enough for me to know which one of my four cats has used it. My cats weigh between 8-18 pounds and have had no issues with the size of the litter box. The only downside is that I have four cats and when the litter dumps into the tray, the refuse piles onto one side and will give a full indication. I just take the tray out and shake the clumps to the other side each morning and it works great. I have taken it apart to clean and it is super easy to clean in the bathtub. The components are bulky but not heavy. It is also easy to fill by taking off the top cover. All around great value for the money and it makes my life so much easier. Good company to work with and great product.
