I went through every review of every automatic liter box that there is it seems like. I spent MONTHS researching which one would be best. After countless nights of “am I really going to pay over 200$ for a liter box” I caved. MAN OH MAN IM SO PROUD I DID. This liter box has been a game changer. The set up was a little time consuming, but not longer than 20 minutes including the actual set up of the liter box and pairing it with the app. Assembly was pretty easy and self explanatory. The app is beautiful in terms of ease of use and functionality. You can set up for auto sterilization and you can even lock the button on the front of the liter box in case you have little (they won me over with this function alone). It also tells you how many days you’ve had that liter in and when the optimal time to completely change it is. The cleaning cycle is literally almost silent, now I never noticed when it does. My cat took to this box quickly and we’ve had no issues thus far. My only two complaints are: 1.It’s big, like way bigger than I anticipated 2.I haven’t found a super easy way to put new liter in it without partially disassembling it. But that one minor inconvenience is something I will continue to be quite fine with. Order the box. Just do it.

It took me a long time to start looking for one of these, because I read about all the horror stories of automatic litter boxes hurting cats. I was having a lot of trouble keeping up with scooping the litter box, and felt so guilty that I was letting my cats litter get so dirty. I started looking into automatic litter boxes designed certain ways to be for what seems impossible for it to hurt an animal; this one was it. The drum doesn’t turn toward itself, it turns clockwise, like a washing machine, so it won’t be able to trap your cat. If you’re really nervous about it, you can always keep it powered off and just turn it on when you want it to scoop. I don’t normally write reviews, but this thing has been a life changer. I don’t have to feel like a horrible pet parent anymore, and her litter is always clean; we are both happy. All you have to do is pull out the waste compartment, take out the bag, and toss it in the trash. You put a new bag in, put the waste compartment back, and that’s it. When changing the litter, there’s an option to empty it all, and it’s as simple as wiping down the inside of the drum. I used to dread having to change litter over in the standard boxes; the scraping just to get stuck litter off the bottom and have to scrub it down certainly was grueling. I will say, it will only fit small to medium cats. If you have a large cat, this may not be the right fit for your pet. So far, I absolutely love this thing, and it has been worth every penny.

This is a great product! I would happily recommend it to friends and family. It is a lot of money to invest in such a thing, but it's worth it. I waited abut two months before writing this review. I have one cat and I work, so tending to the litter box each day was a burden. But I like for my cat to have a clean place to do his businesses so I tried the HHOLOVE self-cleaning litter system. It was no trouble to get going and it just sits there and literally takes care of business. He took to it right away and has been using it ever since. The litter is always clean and emptying the waste bin is a breeze. The customer support is top notch; every company should be so dedicated to customer support like this company. He goes in... relieves himself... exits... a few minutes later it runs a cleaning cycle to remove the "deposit". The strainer captures small things too and the litter lasts much longer - I have not taken data but maybe I get twice the life from the litter. I do not have anything negative to say about this litter system.

As mentioned in my first review, I waited over a month to rate this machine so that I could give cat parents an accurate assessment before purchasing it. Here are the PROS: extremely affordable compared to the litter robot and other competitors, easy set-up, user-friendly phone app that also functions as a remote for cleaning and gives users an update on cats' weight and frequency of use. It has a sleek style, is lightweight, easy to clean (Tip: Use Arm & Hammer “clump & seal SLIDE” litter, or you'll end up with fecal matter streaks on the inner walls of the machine), and has one of the best/most clever designs on an outside litter mat I’ve ever seen. The sewer grate-like design really catches litter, and excess litter is easily dumped in the trash. The CONS: The machine's inner circumference is a little tight for my liking; it should be slightly larger, so be wary if you have big/fat cats. The attached trash bin needs to be air-tight/insulated to lessen odors (Tip: I’ve been putting fabric softener sheets sprayed with air freshener inside the new litter bag between changing/dumping the full bin; it’s helping to absorb odor). Finally, the mysterious sanitation feature exhibits no sign it’s doing anything to sanitize besides the button light on the outside of the box going from green to purplish blue. There’s no buzzing or light illuminating the trash bin; nothing. I wish they’d include a video so users can see precisely how this invisible function works. Overall, I would still recommend purchasing this product for its competitive pricing, modern design, manageable cleaning, user-friendly app, and stellar customer service, which is why I’m giving 4-Stars, a valuable insurance when making any purchase. The customer care team has addressed and solved all issues I had when my machine first arrived (e.g., damaged silicone pad, false app alerts, etc.). Great product; almost perfect.

It is so efficient that it has paid for itself in six months because we have used so much less kitty litter. It is so easy to clean and refill. The old school litter box used to make me gag. Well no more of that. It lets you know when it needs to be emptied as well as when it has been used. Extremely happy with this. Totally problem free for the six months.
