I will say I was a little skeptical at first, the first few days I had this I thought my cat was not going to use it. She had a hard time warming up to it, but now she uses it regularly and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. So I must say at this point it is way better than my littermaid. It has been two weeks since it arrived and I have not smelled anything. And the bin is no where near full. Assembly was easy peasy, it is very study and space wise it takes about as much space as the littermaid did. Super quiet, the only way I know it ran is if I check the app or I happen to be walking by when it is running. I would highly recommend this product at this point. Worked great for 6 months. Now it stopped working completely and I cannot get an email back. I supposedly have a lifetime warranty. No one will get back to me.

Do not buy this! The tray that holds the litter is laminated plastic and does not hold up. The under layer on mine peeled off within a few months. Now the cat droppings stick and I have to reach in and scrape by hand. Even when it’s working it’s hard to clean. Contacting the mfgr is a joke. I’m going back to my old fashioned regular cat box. ... show more

    • Ok for the price, doesn't work as good as more expensive models
It works ok as long as it doesn't go offline, if it mistakenly disconnects from the power it is impossible to get to work again. Also when the barrel inside spins after my cat uses it, it doesn't turn high enough to dispose the cats feces so you have to either clean it manually or clean it several times using the app. This is why it cost less than other models. ... show more
