Update a little after a month: I Still love this thing! No issues at all. I now use Glad 4 gallon drawstring bags. They fit perfectly. I change the bag out every 3-4 days, but we have 4 cats. Super happy still! I have had this Labolow litter box for 2 weeks. 4 cats. 1 that's a chonky 16 lbs, one older that doesn't cover his poo, and the other two are just average weight. I was a bit wary, as it is inexpensive (relatively), one cat is quite large. Will they use it? Is it too small? Does it work? Will it stink? The Litter Robot stopped working. It also reeked no matter how much we would wash it, clean it. The drawer just smelled ripe even after emptying the drawer every day. It was gross. That was, if it decided to work. The sensors were dirty, then they needed replacing, then it needed a new board. etc. I saw this type of litter box, liked that the used litter went directly into a bag and that there was a flap to keep the stench down. All 4 cats took to it within 24 hours. If our big cat weighed a lb more (shes 16 lbs), it might be too small for her. Its fine for her. No issues. It is SUPER quiet! There is a smell when the first go, then its gone. No lingering stench. Its awesome! I have not had any connectivity issues at all. It does what it is supposed to. I change the bag every 3 -4 days and wipe down the interior and the flap on the bagging area with lysol wipes when I change the bag. The bag changing is very simple. Don't look at the diagram in the book. Look at how it is put on when you take the 1st bag off (it comes preloaded with a bag attached). The bag drawstring goes straight up the slit, then wrapped around the right side of the bag holder, then back up the slit. This thing cleans up super easy. It wipes down with a disinfecting wipe, you can take the entire barrel outside (not the base) and hose it down. It is way smaller than a litter robot, but plenty roomy and plenty of litter area (I think more than the LR). The app works perfectly. I get the same litter trails as I do with any other litterbox, which isn't a whole lot. We have a large litter mat in front of it. The one that came with it was too small but its super cute and would work for maybe one cat. Bobert (our robovac) cleans up any stray litter around the box just fine everyday. I use regular clumping Scoop Away and have zero issues. I will be getting a 2nd one for my master bath to replace the regular litter box I have in there, for the one cat that is allowed to sleep with us at night. Apart from the LABOLOW Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box being a bit small for cats over 16 lbs, this thing is awesome and I highly recommend it. ... show more

The cat litter box would not load to my phone I tried many times I even turned it off for a day and it kept telling me to reset it there is no reset button. If I do it manually it works . I have ut off again my one year old cat hates it he is scared to death when it rotates he staring going to the bathroom in the bathtub and in the Olde cats bed. He peed on every mat, pad and blanket. I will keep it off for a long while and try again . Im Just not happy with it. The litter is a challenge to get what will clump the right way I finically got that right. So I'm hoping it will work but I'm skeptical ... show more

This thing is AWESOME! I expected something that half worked considering the other brands are asking twice as much for theirs. I feel like this product is reasonably priced, still pricey though. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and have had no problems. It works perfectly. Great concept!!! It does not eliminate all odors unless you change the bag daily and that adds costs. It never fails, after 3 minutes of my kitten leaving, it cleans it's mess. The litter is nice and clean afterwards. My only concern is the bottom of the barrel is rubber, I am afraid my kitten will rip it. So far so good. Other customers stated it scared their cat, my kitten loves it. It's slow and quiet and my kitten seems to be possessive with it. He will not let the dog near it. Hope it holds up for years to come! ... show more

I have been using this smart litter box for about three weeks. So far, I am quite impressed. It was easy to set up, my four cats took to it right away. It has done a great job of sifting through the litter. It’s so nice to not have to scoop a lot of dirty litter and my room where the litter is doesn’t smell at all.     • My cat was traumatized
i'm sure its different for all cats, but not only did my cat not take to this, he was actually traumatized by it. for some reason, it was constantly going through a clean cycle every few minutes for the entire overnight. (we were asleep and didn't know). Even after removing it and putting the old box back, he refused to go in there and began inappropriate elimination. I've been working with him for a week now, and just last night did he voluntarily go pee in the old litter box. I would give this away to someone, but i'm afraid it may traumatize their cats as well. specifically for the product - it may be great -- i don't know. the 'glitch' with constant cycling has made it unusable and i feel like i just threw 300 bucks away. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have 3 cats, and one is over 15 lbs while the others below. They all enjoy it very much, and so do I! This cat machine toilet has several highlights that you should consider for real: - I don’t have to scoop their stuff myself and make my lungs feel a lot more comfortable than before. - Customer Support is very helpful and the response is quick. - Most importantly, my cats are happy and never use the old-hand-scoop toilet again, because sands are always clean whenever they use. - limited noise from the machine operation. - No more strong smell from the toilet because the “stuff” is well isolated within which leaves with no gap to the fresh air. I like the fact that's its not gigantic! It's large enough, but does not take up an enormous amount of room. It's quiet, doesn't smell. I was on vacation for 15 days and it did great (one cat). I definitely think it's worth what I paid for it. Great customer support.
