Ok at first my Cats thought I had bought them a new sand box to play in. This is because their previous litter pan was one with the pellets in it. That cat pan had a pad at the bottom of it to catch their urine when it went through the pellets. So I had to take that pissy pad out and squeeze it onto the litter in the new pan that’s when they understood this was your new cat pants and they really like it. The problem is I can’t keep it on automatic because they’re so curious about it, they keep stopping it but I’m home pretty much all the time so it’s no problem. And I figure after a few months they’ll get used to it and then I can put it on automatic. So the first litter I bought was the clump and seal slide litter by Arm & Hammer. And that worked good only I found it didn’t stay together as well as I wanted it too, so there were a little clumps of litter that passed through and it made the litter dirty so I did decide to try a new litter which was the. Fresh step lightweight clumping cat litter and I will say right now. Don’t buy this litter for your automatic cat pan. It does stay on it that it is grateful automatic cat pan. It is not it doesn’t clump fast enough. It doesn’t absorb the wetness fast enough, and it makes a mess at the bottom of the cat pan so that when the cat pan turns to empty, there is pee and litter stuck on the pan, and if it does come out, it can fall out of the pan and onto your floor. It is disgusting. It’s like having mud in your cat pan. I was so pissed when I saw this so the only thing I could do was I bought the Arm & Hammer hide ball cat litter. Now I bought that figuring since that cat litter will turn into urine into a hard ball. It will absorb the wetness faster in the other cat litter if I mix it with it, which you did so for the time being until I’m through with the horrible. Fresh step I will continue to mix them. When I buy litter again, I will buy the both the Arm &Hammer Slide clumping litter and the Hardball litter and mix equal parts of that together. The reason I decided to do that is I do like the Slide litter because he does slide right out of the cat pan and doesn’t leave any residue behind and I like the hard ball because it does absorb all of the wetness and so I figure with the two of those combine, it will create the ultimate cat litter for an automatic cat pan thereby not leaving little chunks of wet cat litter behind, causing me to have to change the cat litter more often than necessary. Other than that with the litter thing, I’d really like this automatic cat pan. I have owned automatic cat pans in the past they have not worked as well as they say they have. I have owned the one that is the manual one that you turn like this one is based on, but it does it itself mechanically does it, but even that one didn’t work that great because you know these spaces were too wide and it was too heavy. They have to turn all the time and the other one I owned was one that just made a bigger mess. It wasn’t worth using because I could scoop out cat who better than that thing could so that wasn’t a really great one. I did like the breeze cat pan because of the pellets and because I never had the smell of cat pan in my house when I owned the breeze cat pan. The automatic cat pan can have a smell to it if you don’t keep up on keeping it clean, but there is a product that I found on the market that takes care of all of the smell no matter how sensitive Person’s nose can be someone’s always gonna smell your cat pan but there is this cleaner called angry orange. You can buy it ready to use or you can buy a concentrated and mix it yourself and it is fantastic. I can’t say enough about it. I will also be reviewing it because I bought it on Amazon and I’ll tell you something people may see the cat pan but every time they see it they say OMG I didn’t know you had cats. That is amazing your cat pan has no Oder. It is really great and my cats have had accidents in the house and they can’t smell that the cats had accidents in the house, of course I did shampoo the carpets, and things like that but still there is usually always that lingering smell, but with this angry orange there isn’t so I recommend that highly to any pet owners. BTW there is no place to hide my cat pan. My apartment is more like a large one room. It has a large 4 closet divider which divides the living room from the bedroom. The cat pan sits right in between both rooms. .

I’ve had this litter box for a while now with my two kitties, really enjoying how it works day to day. One cat’s tiny and lean, the other’s quite chunky, and surprisingly both move around inside without getting squished at all. I tucked it into a spare corner in our utility room; it doesn’t hog extra floor space and looks neat next to our other household stuff. I was worried the frame would look bulky ahead of buying, but its smooth outer design blends right in with our storage cabinets and cleaning supplies. I spent ages comparing different styles online before picking this one, glad I didn’t go for the oversized alternatives. I set it to start cleaning 11 minutes after they hop out. It hums softly when running, nothing loud enough to bug us around the house. My cats usually wander over to peek when they hear the quiet movement, never scared to climb in to do their business. I used to fret loud machinery would frighten my bigger cat, who’s always skittish of new gadgets, but he grew comfortable using it after just a couple of days. It’s lovely watching them curiously sniff around the machine whenever it cycles through its cleanup routine. I also link the unit to my phone app, which makes setup super convenient. I can tweak the waiting time for automatic cleaning remotely and check daily usage records for my two cats anytime I’m out running errands. We’ve got two different-sized cats using it every single day, and the bottom bin holds their waste for close to two weeks before needing emptying. It has a large-capacity waste bin that perfectly meets the daily use needs of multi-cat families, greatly reducing the frequency of cleaning. No more constant hand-scooping litter every other day, which saves me so much annoying chore time. Dragging out the waste tray takes just a quick second. Changing out the garbage liner is straightforward too, no tricky folding or messy cleanup required. All in all, it’s been a handy addition for anyone looking after multiple cats at home, and I’d recommend it to friends juggling pets and limited spare time around the house.

Don't buy this. Spend your money on a reliable product. I will say I contacted them for service and they were very helpful troubleshooting this "waste bin anti-pinch sensor" error, although I didn't anticipate totally taking the unit apart. They did provide some pics for screw locations etc. The problem is a thin plastic strip that covers the sensors. Apparently it's not sealed enough to prevent debris too dirty the sensors and removing that plastic strip will snap with minimal pressure. Furthermore, it won't connect to Google Home. I have other Tuya products that integrate fine. Not this one. Other than that it worked fine. It just stopped in 3 months.

Super easy to put together, it comes with a small smell good smelly thing in the shape of a cat head and its really nice and a matt for her to step onto and catch any loose litter!! My friend has one(in her living room) and I never smell any nasties! And I'm there M-F. I got a cat and went for it myself. I'm very happy with this purchase!!! I set my app to clean it automatically after 1 minute of her finishing. It weighs her, tells me how much she uses it and when the device itself it offline. Definitely worth the money!!

It’s just so great to not have to scoop poop every single day and it keeps the odor contained in the trash compartment and all I have to do is remove and replace the bag and pour in more litter. So far so good! I hesitate to give it a full 5 stars because I’ve only had this litter box a short time. I can comment on the packaging, it was packed securely and arrived quickly. We have 3 cats of which only 2 use the automatic box. So far the waste drawer has held quite a bit without producing a lot of odor. I mean it holds poop and pee so it has a smell, but with as much as the waste drawer holds the smell has been minimal. The little plastic deodorizer it comes with is a joke, it does nothing, it doesn’t even have a scent. I added my own deodorizer. The inside barrel is easy to wipe out and maintain clean. The scoop is a bit disappointing, because it’s long slits so if there are small bits or clumps they end up being added back to the clean litter. That can be handled by manual scooping which sort of defeats the purpose, but if you are really picky it’s an option. I haven’t had it long enough to need to take it apart for a complete wash out. So far I’ve just maintained it with wiping it out with a disinfectant wipe. The app is simple and easy to use, nothing fancy, for me that means less to worry about malfunctioning. The box has a timer you can adjust as to when the box rotates to clean out the waste. That is nice because not all litters clump quickly. The box will stop moving if a cat goes near it when it’s actively in clean mode. I’ve tried other fancier more expensive boxes that worked great for a month or so then just stopped working. So far the Meow whimsey has done what it’s supposed to do and it’s still works. I’ve had it about 6 weeks as of this review.

I purchased this litter box in August 2025. It was super easy to assemble and my cat started using it immediately. Now this is June 2026 and it has stopped rotating. It begins a cycle, dumps the poo and does not go back to its original position. The app says that the anti pinch has been activated, but after a thorough cleaning it still will not complete a cycle. While cleaning I removed the pad that the litter sits on and found that urine and litter had somehow leaked through the waterproof liner. The only way to get in contact with the company is through email which I will be sending one as soon as I am done with this review..
