Please read all: loves at the beginning and pro tips in the middle and cons/dislikes at the end. Thank you. *** very easy to use *** smells great, does not have an obxnious chemical smell *** Dyes your hair quickly *** worked very well to dye my hair even over non metallic brand splat ombre pink/violet ( I had that color at the top of my hair) and this brand and shade blue metallic at the bottom (the last picture shows how the color my hair was before it faded out to a gray washed out version of it hence gave me the desire to dye it this time all one color) I decided to color my entire head all in the same shade and it covered very well. } Even though it washes out a bit each time you wash it, I love that you can work in the yard or house and work up a sweat and the dye stays on your hair unlike other hair dyes where when you sweat it runs down your face and neck. You can get sweaty and not turn into smurfette with this brand. } This color and brand dyed my hair the exact color to the box color shades predicted. I've never before had hair color that matched the box but this did. } I have always hated having my hair a dark color but I love this dark color. Depending on the lighting my hair looks dark blue to violet and sometimes dark brown/black in some camera shots without the flash on it even looks normal dark brown to black. PRO TIPS: 1.} Cover your counter in old towels or piddle pads (does stain counters and showers and skin if not washed off asap) before starting to mix the hair dye. 2.} Use lotion> I used the dollar tree chamomile relaxing-sleep lotion. Apply around edges of your hair line widely/thick, apply on shoulders, chest. This hydrates your skin as a bonus but even better when you inevitably as we all do-> The ends of your hair that is coated in the dye touches other areas of your body by using the lotion then when you rinse your hair the lotion keeps it from dying your skin and face blue/ purple. If it does get on area without lotion on it quickly/asap wash with soap and water otherwise your skin will be purple/blue til it fades off. 3.}. Other people says this dyes your white showers I have learned this is true if you let the color sit and dry on your white or light colored showers/counters/walls but if you wash it with water and even use soap and rinse it very well before it dries it will not color or stain. 4.} I did have a few hair strand loss but not a lot. Use the conditioner the kit provides. It made my hair feel so healthy and soft. 5.} Make sure to massage the dye in and even comb through it with a non metal comb then massage in again. This helps to evenly coat each hair strand, and seems to help the dye to work or activate better, and you get a massage at the same time. THE CONS 1.} The permanent color does fade quickly to a washed out color that I absolutely hated. It does wash out a little bit each time you wash your hair. 2.} It will dye your white/light colored towels and will not come out. 3.} It does not color dark hair which is a huge bummer. I hate that. You must bleach your hair to blondest blonde possible before using this brand. It will work on light color hair just not dark hair. 5.} It will dye your skin and showers/counters if you do not heed my tips. 6.} Make sure each time you wash your hair after the initial dying process that you rinse your shower out very well. Works great, I love the brand and use the colors often. This color however barely shows any blue. It just looks black. You can only see a tiny tint of blue in the sun. Hoping after it fades a bit more it will look more blue.

This color will fade fast so I use this on my root's and after I rinse this out and dry my hair then I use thier semi permanent color over my roots and the rest of my hair over night with a tight bag and ahower cap to retain heat on my head. The color lasts all month I always use cold water everytime I wash it use dry shampoo and only wash my hair twice a week and I also use a leave in conditioner everyday and a valume spray that makes my hair smell good. ... show more

Totally bummed by how little they give you in one bottle. Couldn't even cover a medium Bob and the color is dull after 3 days. Don't waste your money!

This is a very pretty color but I’m learning that the not so natural permanent colors don’t last as long as traditional permanent colors. I get about 2-3 weeks of bright, clean color with this brand which is just fine because I can switch up the colors as they fade out. I’ve used this brand before not the blues, I saw some folks review about it changing their hair colors to black which is true there is nothing blue about the dye when you rinse the product off I had light reddish brown hair now I have black hair. The other issue I found with this particular brand is there is less product inside the packaging than normal and standard hair dye I have short hair shoulder length my hair has fallen out so I can’t even say I have thick hair my hair is curly it ranges between 3b and 3c since Covid my hair has been falling out I want to say it’s closer to thin hair and I had to use two bottles to dye my entire hair when normally 1 would be more than enough. STAY AWAY FROM THE BLUES UNLESS YOU WANT BLACK HAIR!!!! ... show more

Great dye. Sticks really well to the hair and looks vibrant. However its only good for short hair, you need to buy 2 or 3 units for long hair.
