This product is great! It’s by far our puppy’s favorite toy, but it does not last long. We have a seven month old Australian Shepherd. She loves to play chase, tug, and fetch with it, but she also loves to chew it. A lot. They are in expensive enough that I don’t mind buying them, but they do not last more than a month. Not sure if my dog is an exceptionally aggressive chewer, or if this is normal, but wanted to share my experience. I’d like to switch to a different football, but she knows the name of this toy and picks it out of her box when we say “get the football”. I’m afraid if I change products, she’ll have to relearn it. My dog does love this ball and this is the second one I got her because she finally chewed through the first one. For a really aggressive chewer I don't think it would last very long, but for my dog it lasted about 4 months before she got it ripped open. Maybe this one will last a bit longer, we'll see! ... show more

Our pup LOVES this ball! We’ve had a couple of them over the last two years. I always replace it when she chews the cover off the styrofoam ball, because it’s such a staple. It won’t last a longtime if you have a super chewer, but for the price you can’t beat it. I love that it’s so soft, so you don’t have to worry about breaking things inside. It’s got great bounce! These hold up pretty well. Zoey was able to get some of the cover loose, but they hold up pretty well. If you dog is a chewer, might not be the best choice. but Zoey (sheltie) loves it. Good indoor toy, doesnt mark stuff or make noise when ya whip it.

We've bought at least 5 of these now and as you can see, it's a favorite. My pup isn't a chewer but previous ones have been destroyed by more aggressive chewers and general wear. The is a staple "inside toy" for us.

My dog loved fetching this ball. It's not a strong quality ball. My 29lb dog had the outside cover off in no time. It was destroyed. But I bought another one because she loved running after it and bringing it back to me.
