Collects find particles and cleans very well. Becuase it collects so much it does need to be emptied and cleaned more often than the OEM filter. However, this filter is extremely easy to clean!

This filter is AMAZING it picks up any and everything (including sand) You do however, want to make sure your rinsing it out after about 5 mins (depending on how much debris you pick up) but if there isn't alot of debris than you can keep going. But for the start of the season and really dirty pool, I would definitely recommend rinsing out your filter (with a garden hose) after at least 5 mins) But it is 100% with the money !!! ... show more

We had a situation where DE powder from our DE filter made it into our return lines and ultimately back into the pool. The standard bag filter that came with our pool blaster was great for larger sized particles, but was having trouble holding the DE.
