It is easy to assemble it. It is an assembled unit; I inserted five locking pins and attached a back cushion to assemble it. It's more suitable for small-size people (thin and short). The angle of the backboard of the bench can be raised to a sitting position and lowered to flat. The headrest is adjustable as well. The front leg of the bench is not adjustable. It is so tiny that only short people can use it. The pad also needs to be thicker. Therefore, doing sit-ups is impossible, as I am six feet tall. It is okay for upper chest workouts. It is too narrow and has substantially limited adjustability

This unit is easy to assemble, and that's the most good I can say about it. It's basically one already-assembled unit that you fold out, insert 5 locking pins, and attach a back cushion. It's small for a weight bench. The only thing that is adjustable is the backboard of the bench which can be raised to a sitting position and lowered to flat. The locking pins only lock the already-assembled sections into place during initial assembly, and do not allow for adjustments to accommodate different body types and sizes during use. Most disappointing for me is the front leg of the bench onto which the leg/foot anchors are attached. This front leg of the bench is immobile, welded into place at so slight an angle that it was impossible to get my feet behind the anchors at all. Since it is welded into place and immobile, it cannot be adjusted. And since I got this bench primarily so that I could do sit-ups at home to work on my mid-section, without the ability to anchor my legs and feet and then lay back on the bench to do sit-ups, taken together with this weigh bench's other inadequacies, this unit is of no use to me. I have returned it which, given its size, was no easy task.
