Will it still clean automatically without Wi-Fi? Yes. Automatic cleaning can continue even if Wi-Fi is temporarily unavailable. Wi-Fi is mainly required for APP features such as remote control, settings, and activity records. Is it safe if my cat approaches while the litter box is cleaning? Yes. Multiple safety protections, including infrared sensing, microwave radar, weight detection, and Touch-Stop protection, help detect your cat and stop the cleaning cycle when needed. What cats can use this litter box? The open-top design is suitable for cats up to 27 lb. Very small kittens may not be reliably detected by the weight sensor, so manual cleaning / kitten-safe operation is recommended until they are large enough for automatic mode. What type of cat litter works best? Clumping clay litter is recommended for the best cleaning performance. Fine bentonite-based clumping litter also works well. Large pellets, pine, tofu, and other low-clumping litters are not recommended. What if I need help with setup or troubleshooting? Easy to clean! Most of it comes apart to wash (but you don't wash bottom part....just wipe). I already had 2 other boxes connected to the Tuya app, so it quickly connected! The app is great! You can check their weight. I can see how many times they use it. I can set clumping times (longer or shorter). Best on 10 minutes in my opinion. My cats took to it right away! The step that comes with it helped my senior cat! It weighs about 18lbs. Not too heavy to carry if you have a bad back like me! That was a plus!

Amazing first impression

I just got the litter box and Oakley is hesitant about it and its movement. It was extremely easy to put together and set up on the app. It is also extremely quiet when cleaning. I also love all the items it came with and was surprised. I thought it might be too small for Oakley but he fits it perfectly. It is great quality for the price i paid. I’ve only had it for a day and it appears durable.

Easy to use cat litter box

Put this automatic cat litter box together with easy follow along Instructions. I work throughout the day and I used to come home to smelly litter boxes but after buying this it has made it so much easier to clean and my house does not smell awful anymore. Also, it did not take up a lot of space in my apartment as it fit snug in my kitchen area. I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in ease of use for cat litter boxes.

my large breed ragdolls are trying but I think it’s too small for them :(

This is our first robot litterbox. I have large breed ragdoll cats, my boy is a bit over 20lbs and my girl is about 11 pounds. What I like about this littterbox - it’s simple. The instructions are pretty basic, my husband was hoping for a video to make sure you have it all set up correctly and couldn’t find any information on the “RPZ” brand at all. So he was disappointed by that. It makes me a little skittish when I can’t find brand info, like it would maybe be hard to get support if you need it. Overall the build quality appears to be pretty good. The kitties are intrigued and often step up to check it out. Anytime they do so, it triggers a cleaning cycle afterwards. If they step up during the cycle to peek it will immediately stop. I can also testify that it works really well! As they’ve started using it, the cleaning cycle has done its job. No scattered litter, no smears, no mess, and no smells! Genius. That’s what we want. On to the cons- The base of the litter area seems to be made of a wipe clean fabric?….I don’t get the logic of this. Shouldn’t it be hard plastic or even steel, not something porous? Our biggest issue is that the surface area is pretty small. It’s advertised to fit cats up to 12.5kg but maybe they mean pounds? I’m not worried about the box supporting their weight. But as they’ve started using it, we’ve been cleaning up nonstop accidents off the floor because they don’t have enough surface area to spread out. They’re used to an XXL rectangular box so maybe they need to adjust? Here’s hoping. Giving this litter box 4 stars because it actually works and setup and cleanup is a breeze. Provided your cats actually fit inside to do their business.

Convenient, quiet and effective!

We love the convenience of not having to clean daily. The open-top design is also more compact than enclosed versions, which is great for our space. One of our cats took to it right away, while our more skittish cat is still getting used to it after a week. In the video I’m running a manual cycle, but it runs automatically after use. The smart app connectivity lets you track usage and customize settings like cleaning delay, child lock, and a nighttime sleep window. It connected seamlessly to the app I already use to control my cat feeders, which was nice. It’s very quiet, with most of the noise coming from the litter moving during cleaning. It uses litter efficiently, does a good job removing waste, and requires very little maintenance. Some litter does fall out and needs occasional sweeping, but the deep waste drawer means you don’t need to empty it often. We haven’t had to fully clean it yet, but the litter-dump feature and removable lining are helpful and should make cleaning easy.

My cats prefer the design

Confusing manual, unclear manual mode, but overall a good budget option for robot cat litter boxes. The main selling point for me, for this litter box, is the open design; a closed "box" induces a fear response from some of my cats, where they feel vulnerable, so they absolutely will not used a one-way in/out box. This auto litter box alleviates that fear with my timid cats, so it remains one of the best designs for those types of cats. It has three buttons, and a single power switch, that control the entire device. The left most has the sand "leveler", or rake, option which serves a more important function — "the microwave" Despite how it sounds, its one the most important qualities of this box. The "microwave" setting is just a sensor that detects movements in-front of the box, and it will quickly cease all functions until no movement is detected. This is a important saftey feature in auto boxes with pinch points, crevices that a cat can get stuck in, which can be potentially dangerous. Aside from the motion sensor, there are two more buttons. The center is a dump litter button, with seemingly no other function despite what the manual says (see image), and it makes cleaning the box hassle free! Its probably my favorite mode this cat box has to offer; it takes all of the litter and dumps it into the trash bin, saving time when doing a litter change. The final button is the simple 'clean now' mode which just instructs the motor to dump only the accumulated clumps. All of these modes are locked behind a child-lock that requires you to press the center + right (dump litter + clean now) buttons simultaneously for a couple seconds. Afterwards you can use the other functions normally, but dumping the litter requires you to hold the button down. So far this box has been a vital part of my "keep clean" initiative now that theres a child running around. I positioned it against a corner to further make use of the saftey features, but so far no incidents have occured — nor has any interest, in how it works, has been peaked in my cats. I'm quite happy with it despite the instructions being a bit hard to understand. I haven't discovered the manual mode, that I'd feel more comfortable using, but the manual states it has one. I'll update this review if that is, or isn't, the case. Note: assembly is very straightforward and simple, be sure to remove any hidden styrofoam. It also comes with some accessories, but I'm not sure where to put the scent packs... I probably won't use them 5/5
