Confusing manual, unclear manual mode, but overall a good budget option for robot cat litter boxes. The main selling point for me, for this litter box, is the open design; a closed "box" induces a fear response from some of my cats, where they feel vulnerable, so they absolutely will not used a one-way in/out box. This auto litter box alleviates that fear with my timid cats, so it remains one of the best designs for those types of cats. It has three buttons, and a single power switch, that control the entire device. The left most has the sand "leveler", or rake, option which serves a more important function — "the microwave" Despite how it sounds, its one the most important qualities of this box. The "microwave" setting is just a sensor that detects movements in-front of the box, and it will quickly cease all functions until no movement is detected. This is a important saftey feature in auto boxes with pinch points, crevices that a cat can get stuck in, which can be potentially dangerous. Aside from the motion sensor, there are two more buttons. The center is a dump litter button, with seemingly no other function despite what the manual says (see image), and it makes cleaning the box hassle free! Its probably my favorite mode this cat box has to offer; it takes all of the litter and dumps it into the trash bin, saving time when doing a litter change. The final button is the simple 'clean now' mode which just instructs the motor to dump only the accumulated clumps. All of these modes are locked behind a child-lock that requires you to press the center + right (dump litter + clean now) buttons simultaneously for a couple seconds. Afterwards you can use the other functions normally, but dumping the litter requires you to hold the button down. So far this box has been a vital part of my "keep clean" initiative now that theres a child running around. I positioned it against a corner to further make use of the saftey features, but so far no incidents have occured — nor has any interest, in how it works, has been peaked in my cats. I'm quite happy with it despite the instructions being a bit hard to understand. I haven't discovered the manual mode, that I'd feel more comfortable using, but the manual states it has one. I'll update this review if that is, or isn't, the case. Note: assembly is very straightforward and simple, be sure to remove any hidden styrofoam. It also comes with some accessories, but I'm not sure where to put the scent packs... I probably won't use them 5/5

This is our first robot litterbox. I have large breed ragdoll cats, my boy is a bit over 20lbs and my girl is about 11 pounds. What I like about this littterbox - it’s simple. The instructions are pretty basic, my husband was hoping for a video to make sure you have it all set up correctly and couldn’t find any information on the “RPZ” brand at all. So he was disappointed by that. It makes me a little skittish when I can’t find brand info, like it would maybe be hard to get support if you need it. Overall the build quality appears to be pretty good. The kitties are intrigued and often step up to check it out. Anytime they do so, it triggers a cleaning cycle afterwards. If they step up during the cycle to peek it will immediately stop. I can also testify that it works really well! As they’ve started using it, the cleaning cycle has done its job. No scattered litter, no smears, no mess, and no smells! Genius. That’s what we want. On to the cons- The base of the litter area seems to be made of a wipe clean fabric?….I don’t get the logic of this. Shouldn’t it be hard plastic or even steel, not something porous? Our biggest issue is that the surface area is pretty small. It’s advertised to fit cats up to 12.5kg but maybe they mean pounds? I’m not worried about the box supporting their weight. But as they’ve started using it, we’ve been cleaning up nonstop accidents off the floor because they don’t have enough surface area to spread out. They’re used to an XXL rectangular box so maybe they need to adjust? Here’s hoping. Giving this litter box 4 stars because it actually works and setup and cleanup is a breeze. Provided your cats actually fit inside to do their business.

I probably spent way too much time comparing automatic litter boxes before buying one. My priorities were an open entrance, app tracking, a decent-size waste drawer, and something that didn’t feel overly complicated. After using this one, I think I made the right choice. My cat adapted quickly, the cleaning cycle is quieter than I expected, and I actually use the app to check his visits and weight. There are more expensive options out there, but for what I wanted, this has been a very good balance of features and everyday usability.

I’ve been using this litter box for a while now and it has made daily cleanup so much easier. My cat adjusted to the open design pretty quickly, and I like that it automatically cleans after she uses it. The app is also very helpful. I can check her weight and litter box visits from my phone, which gives me a better idea of her daily routine. It runs quietly, and the waste drawer is large enough that I don’t have to empty it constantly. So far, it has been a big upgrade from a regular litter box and saves me a lot of time.

The biggest thing for me about this box is that it's open top. My cats like to see around them, and if they get startled, I want them to feel like they can escape. I have less worries about the cat getting trapped or hurt. I can even test the sensors by using my hands and approaching the box from many angles to make sure it's going to stop. After the initial setup, it's much easier to take apart to clean and put back together. I have mobility issues, and the ability to just empty and replace the bag each week is a big relief to me. I know the box is clean enough for the cats to be comfy using it, and I don't have to strain my back or hip with daily scooping. I can use the lightweight litter, and refill as needed to keep it at functioning levels, and just clean it as indicated or more if the cats get finiky.

Received this through the Amazon Vine program and set this up for my Maine Coon, who's over 20 pounds and has been tough to fit in most self cleaning boxes. Size is a big plus here, plenty of room for a large cat to move around comfortably, and the self cleaning function works about as well as other sub $300 automatic boxes I've tried. Ease of use is solid, the open top design makes it simple for a big cat to get in and out without hesitation. The one letdown is the legs, they feel cheap and the whole unit has a bit of shake to it even with litter loaded in, so it's not the most stable setup on uneven flooring. Material and build otherwise feels fine for the price point, and function wise it cleans consistently without jamming. Good value if you've got a large cat that doesn't fit other automatic boxes, just don't expect rock solid stability from the base.

I have multiple cats, so anything that cuts down on litter box maintenance is a win for me. This automatic litter box was easy to set up, runs quietly, and my cats adjusted to it much faster than I expected. I really like the open design because it feels less intimidating than enclosed models, and the automatic cleaning keeps the litter looking much fresher throughout the day.
