Love this product. We have used more expensive brands with limited success. We have two large cats who are fantastic eaters and regrettably produce lots of poo. This automatic litter box is so easy to assemble, clean, and change. The app also gives you updates on use, your cat's weight, and, most importantly, when the waste container needs to be changed. Very affordable when compared to more expensive systems, and has worked perfectly!

I got this because scooping litter for my cat was taking up more time than I wanted to give it and I kept putting it off longer than I should have. The open top was the thing that sold me. I'd looked at the enclosed barrel style ones before and my cat wanted nothing to do with them, and I worried about safety. This one she walked into on the first day with only a little hesitation. The inside is not especially spacious but my cat has no trouble turning around in there. The surface has a softer texture to it and I wonder if it will easily show scratch marks, as my cat loves to scratch the sides instead of the litter. The app works fine. I can check when it was used and run a cleaning cycle from my phone if I need to. The cleaning cycle is quiet enough that it doesn't bother the cat when it runs. The waste drawer is big and I'm emptying it maybe once every 2 weeks. Odor is not a problem, but it never has been with the crystal litter I use. A few things worth noting. The gear mechanism on the side is exposed but my cat is not the curious sort so I don't think that will be an issue. The build feels a little lighter than I expected for the price but nothing has broken and it's been running consistently since I set it up. Overall I'm pleased but I really don't think the $240 price is justified as automatic litter boxes are becoming more common and affordable.

4/7/26 - Update after a month of use: While the box is open and easy to clean, I do have a number of minor irritating bones to pick: 1. When it's in motion, if for some reason it senses the bin to be full (whether or not it is, or if there's just a piece of debris blocking whatever sensor triggers this notification), it will stop. When you pull the bin out to change the bag, IT WILL START MOVING AGAIN. The obvious problem with this is that you need to run to the power source to unplug it unless you want a load of cat waste dumped onto your floor. 2. Further, there are times when the box will cycle and get stuck at the dump point of the rotation, leaving the litter contained inside the unit and the opening in the back where they cannot use it. What this means is that my cats HAVE NO LITTER BOX AND NO CHOICE BUT TO RELIEVE THEMSELVES ELSEWHERE. 3. FURTHER, this also means that waste container area is OPEN and it's then WORSE than having a dirty litter box regarding the smell because at least in a dirty litter box, the cat covers their waste and the smell is somewhat contained. In this situation, all of the solid waste is in one big pile just sitting there in the container exposed to the air in the room. 4. When the box is closed and in the position to be used by the cat, the smell is definitely not contained. It's not horrible, but if you get near the box you can definitely smell it. 5. I don't enjoy being forced to use the app. It might be nice if I chose to do so, but I should be able to plug it in and let it do it's thing. Final takeaway, it's still better than cats being killed for improperly eliminating because the cat box is disgusting to them due to human laziness (JUST IMAGING HAVING TO USE THE SAME UNCLEANED OUTHOUSE EVERY TIME YOU HAD TO GO). But, comparing it to my OG Litter Robot, I would definitely go with the latter because you just don't have these problems with the Litter Robot. Embarrassingly expensive? Yes. Worth every penny? Yes. I'm a Litter Robot owner but I have to say that I'm impressed with this auto box. It does hold a decent amount of waste. It's super easy to clean. Both myself and the cats like how open it is -- the cats took right to it. It does a decent job at odor control as well. I'm pleasantly surprised by the performance and actually recommend it -- especially considering the cost compared with the Litter Robot.
