Works great! Only took about 20 minutes to put together once I broke down and finally asked my dad to help me. If u have a wrench set, would be super easy to do alone but if ur only using the tools given, then id recommend having another person to hold the screws down with the Allen wrench while you tighten the bolts. I’m about 5’1 and the lowest adjustable height works perfect. It’s definitely durable and I already tried it out while holding 80 lbs and it didn’t wobble at all, and luckily the hip pads didn’t dig in at all. Works just the same as any of the expensive bigger commercial ones and I love that it folds up. 10/10!

Very high quality equipment for the price. The pads are very dense, supportive, and adjustable. The machine is adjustable for height and angle. The foot holders are stable and at an ideal angle. The machine is stable and comfortable to use. There are other options that are more expensive and heavier but this one is superior to a lot of the cheaper options.

This device has honestly made a huge difference in my life since getting it. I want to start off with the good: If you have lower back pain due to weak muscles, this will be a life changer. You don’t even have to actually do the full exercise; just doing isometric holds for 2-3 minutes 2-4 times a day will dramatically strengthen your lower back muscles. I chose this model over the many, many others due to the different angle settings that it has, as well as different height adjustments. Having it at a higher angle will make it easier and a lower angle will make it more difficult. The handle for doing pushups/dips is also a nice extra touch and offer extra support for getting out of the device after the more intense workouts make it hard to move. I also appreciate that the device doesn’t take up too much room since it can be folded up and lean against a wall or put in a closet (still takes up approximately 4’H•2’W•1’D) As far as the bad, the device is just a tiny bit wobbly and the foam for the leg support irritates my skin and causes a rash (not uncommon for my sensitive skin, I just wear pants to avoid it.) If you have: back pain, the willpower to stick with the routine, and the space for the device, you have to get one of these and this brand has the best features for the price. I definitely recommend. Edit 6/19/2026: Fixed some grammar mistakes. The roman chair is still working great with no issues!

So, there are a lot of reviews on here that the screws & hardware package was open, missing screws, etc. Mine was also ripped open and a lot of the screws were randomly out of the package and spilled through out the box. I don't know how that thing would get ripped open unless it's a return and someone just threw the screws back in the box. So I contacted the vendor and pleaded with them to just send a new screws & hardware (wrenches) kit. It's like they just cannot understand. This is the response they sent. Dear Customer, Hello again! We fully understand that you simply want a quick and easy solution, without having to spend extra time and effort. The reason we asked for photos was solely to accurately identify which parts were missing and ensure we sent the correct replacements. We never meant to add to your burden, and we truly regret any trouble this has caused you. However, since you prefer not to provide photos, we want to help you get your Roman chair up and running as quickly as possible. Therefore, we have decided to directly send you a complete machine from our Amazon returned inventory that has been inspected and confirmed to be fully functional. This unit is a customer return, but its structure is intact and it includes usable parts. You can take the screws and wrenches you need from it, or simply use the entire replacement machine. I bought this Roman Chair to replace another inexpensive one that I recently bought because, well, the single large cushion on the previous one caused significant nerve pressure and pain in a "delicate area" when doing back-ups. (It would work fine for women, though.) This replacement Roman Chair has two separate cushions which can be installed in three different positions, thus avoiding excessive pressure on sensitive areas for male users. (Based on my painful experience with the previous Roman Chair, I assembled the cushions on this unit with maximum separation.) An added bonus is that this Roman Chair is far more sturdy than the one it replaced, which gives me more confidence when incorporating heavier weights into my core muscle exercises. The elevation and angle adjustments allow for optimization of this Chair for your individual body type and preferred exercises. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. (Pro tip: Use a quality ratcheted driver instead of the included flimsy open-ended wrench.) While the assembly instructions are not great, it wasn't very difficult to figure out what went where. Others have commented that the handles are too short or the foot pads are too small. However, for the most common exercises that Roman Chairs are used for, I did not experience any problems with the configuration of this machine. This Roman Chair fits my needs perfectly, and it's a great value at its modest price point!

got it for $99, absolutely worth the money. I’m about 90kg (200lb) and 1.78 and it’s more than capable of supporting my weight. No rocking. No bending. Very study. Height, length, and pad separation are all easily adjustable and I got it just to where I wanted within 2 minutes. Great fit. Very comfortable to use. All the surfaces that go on the floor are rubber or soft plastic so no problem there. I honestly didn’t think it would be this good. If you’re thinking of getting one, get this one. Price is great and quality is awesome. Took me about 40 minutes to put together. Everything you need comes inside the box, including all the wrenches and a guide to assemble it. You can also easily remove the adjustable parts (pull the pins and take out the parts, no tools needed) to store it and it doesn’t take up a ton of space.

The Roman Chair setup was pretty easy and had instructions and included tools though I used my own tools. The pads are placed well and very thick making it a good piece of gear I can use for a long time. Would recommend.

Good product, solid construction. Welds are clean and solid, tubes feel adequately sturdy. Pads are too close even at the widest setting; had to drill extra holes to space them further apart (so four holes standard would be good). Also, the calf/ankle supports are too close to the main stay. I have to flip them down, and put the chair against a wall, so my heels can rest against the wall. These Chinese machines tend to be built for smaller people. But other than that, solid piece of equipment.
