I’m very disappointed with this Roman chair. The frame feels unstable during use, and it doesn’t seem as sturdy as advertised. The adjustment settings are awkward and don’t fit comfortably, which makes workouts frustrating instead of effective. The padding is also thinner than expected, so longer sessions are uncomfortable. Overall, it did not meet my expectations for quality, comfort, or performance

I bought this Roman Chair to replace another inexpensive one that I recently bought because, well, the single large cushion on the previous one caused significant nerve pressure and pain in a "delicate area" when doing back-ups. (It would work fine for women, though.) This replacement Roman Chair has two separate cushions which can be installed in three different positions, thus avoiding excessive pressure on sensitive areas for male users. (Based on my painful experience with the previous Roman Chair, I assembled the cushions on this unit with maximum separation.) An added bonus is that this Roman Chair is far more sturdy than the one it replaced, which gives me more confidence when incorporating heavier weights into my core muscle exercises. The elevation and angle adjustments allow for optimization of this Chair for your individual body type and preferred exercises. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. (Pro tip: Use a quality ratcheted driver instead of the included flimsy open-ended wrench.) While the assembly instructions are not great, it wasn't very difficult to figure out what went where. Others have commented that the handles are too short or the foot pads are too small. However, for the most common exercises that Roman Chairs are used for, I did not experience any problems with the configuration of this machine. This Roman Chair fits my needs perfectly, and it's a great value at its modest price point!

It has two-way adjustment, which makes it easy to fit different heights and positions. The frame feels nice and sturdy once assembled, and it stays stable while using it. I mainly got this to train my lower back and core, since my lower back has been pretty weak lately. I’m looking forward to using it regularly and hopefully improving my lower back strength and reducing my back pain over time. It also doesn’t take up too much space, which is great for a home workout setup.
