This is a great Level 2 charger for your electric vehicle. My car requires the J1772 plug but you can use this charger with a wide variety of vehicles, including Tesla (with an adapter). The Level 2 charger is about ten times faster than the Level 1, but it requires a 240 volt socket (see photos). Mounts to the wall of your garage and comes with 25 feet of cable so you can easily reach the charging port of your car.

This is a good option for a home charger because it charges fast at 40 amps and has a very generous cable size of 25 feet. Installation was pretty easy because you just mount the bracket and then drill the holes and secure it with the anchors. I used this with my Kia EV6, and I get way faster speeds than level 2 charging in public. With the app, you can control the schedule to save money by charging off peak. Every night I plug this charger in, and I can wake up with a full battery reliably.
