Features

  • The AB-3000 is known as the best-value, adjustable, FID bench for home gyms, and it just got better with a new, upgraded look and feel in the AB-3000 2.0.
  • Improved Stability - Updated front and rear bases with rubber covers provide more grip to the floor and keep your flooring protected. The rear base is also wider to enhance side-to-side stability.
  • Versatile - Along with added leg roller positions, the AB-3000 2.0 now has eight back pad positions, which are now common degree angles most people prefer and are proven to provide a more effective workout. It also features laser-cut numbering along the ladder to easily show what angle youre setting your back pad at.
  • Updated Pads - Our new CleanGrip pads are denser to ensure durability and have more grip than our previous version. They are also easier to clean the smaller perforations trap less dirt and debris. We also provided an updated, squared-off back pad to increase the surface area for increased back support.
  • Updated Handle - The horizontal handle on the updated leg attachment stays out of the way when youre lifting and makes the bench easier to move around your gym.
  • Updated, Built-in Leg Roller - Leg rollers on the AB-3000 2.0 can be moved farther back for better clearance and farther forward than the original design for more comfort in decline. They can also be locked into any of the six positions while doing decline sit-ups and incline bench.

Description

The Rep Fitness adjustable bench is great for hitting multiple angles when you workout. The bench is capable of flat, incline, and decline (FID) positions. Ideal for home and light commercial use, the bench has a thick, firm, 2.5" pad wrapped in very durable, textured vinyl for maximum comfort and support. The solid-steel ladder has 7 positions, from 85-degrees incline down to negative 20-degrees decline, while the seat has multiple adjustment angles to give you more support as your back angle changes. Innovative features include a bare steel, back adjustment ladder to prevent the chipping and flaking of paint from metal-on-metal contact seen on other adjustable benches. Wheels on the rear make it easy to move by lifting the handle on the front of the bench. Product specs: 54"x26"x17.5"; 85lbs; 17.5" from floor to top of pad; 11.5" pad width at shoulders; 7 different ladder adjustments; 4 different seat adjustments; roller pads lock your legs into place for decline work. Ships mostly assembled. 15-minute assembly time. 10-year warranty on frame and 30-day warranty on padding. Assembly notes: Important Product comes mostly assembled, but be sure to tighten down the bolts/nuts. If you forget to do this, the bench won't feel as solid becuse some parts will be too loose. A socket wrench will greatly speed up assembly, but is not necessary.

  • Awesome Built like a Tank Stay Tuned for updates.
I am 56 years old been around weight lifting off and on for most of my life in some form or another. I have around 600 LBS of standard weights. 165 LBS Olympic weights looking for more Olympic weights.. Until last year I had not worked out in about 6 years. I was assisting my wife with a project mind you my wife is 15 years younger then myself. I found I had lost my upper body strength. I told my wife then and there I was going to get back in shape. My cast iron was on the back porch. Purchased a Cheap bench and power tower to replace the ones we sold at the time. Started working out again. I had a bench made by a company by the name of Bio-DYNE no longer in business I no longer have it and I was kicking myself recently. I thought it was nice really good equipment at the time. So I had out grown my cheap bend set rather quickly. So I started looking a for a new Bench to replace the one I no longer have. I looked at a lot of benches. I find the Rep Adjustable bench read through the reviews and I see it will do what I want. My requirements was at least 1000 LBS. It had to adjustable. Her is where it stands out compared to my old bend it rather fast to adjust the bench. Where the Bio Dyne bend I had to pull a Pin to change the angle it just a second or two to adjust save time during my workout. Assembly was rather easy .Only problem I had 3 sets of hands on the project my wife and son was helping me with it. This Bench is built like a Tank it I believe it will last a life time. If I could give a product 100 stars I would on this bench. It is heavy but for a workout bench but that is a good thing no wobble at all. My last bench wobbled a little. I really like using this bench it completes my weight room and I feel safe using it. I cannot find any flaws to complain about. I am including a couple pictures of the bench in my weight room. ... show more

  • Real Nice Product
Color: Matte Blue
Why did you pick this product vs others?: For those of you on the fence about benches don't look any further, this bench is beyond expectations, it is built extremely well, it was packaged extremely well the instructions were easy to follow and the parts were all in the box. How many of you can say that about other products shipped from and built outside the United States, This bench is engineered in Colorado and whomever is responsible for packing and delivery should get a bonus, I was impressed from the moment I opened the box. It is a really nice bench, Im just starting out a home gym and I'm an old guy not easily impressed with the junk that flows into our country on a regular basis this thing shouts quality and is worth every penny IMO. Sturdiness: Outstanding Foldability: Fantastic Stability: Great Ease of use: 10 out of 10 Incline angle: Plenty of options ... show more

  • Value (quality/price) is second to none
I echo what everyone else has said about this bench; it is sturdy, stable, and about as beefy and functional as benches costing twice as much. Regarding the assembled bench and using it in my home gym, I could not be more pleased. It's professional, membership-gym quality equipment. Mine functions well and is properly aligned. I was tempted to deduct one star for the ridiculous issues with assembly, however, but since that was only a couple hours versus what I believe will be my remaining lifetime using this bench, I decided not to., especially given the value proposition of the finished product. Just to set your expectations, however, I would not order this expecting it to go together in ten minutes. It MAY--some reviewers say they got it together that fast--but it is unlikely. Issues with assembly: 1) It was missing a washer, has 7 instead of 8. I've read other reviews which said they were shorted a bolt. Why can't these fitness company manufacturers hire people who can COUNT?! My last product (not this company) was short a couple washers. Add 45 minutes for trip to/from the hardware store to get a washer. 2) As has been mentioned getting the bolts into the seat and back pad holes was challenging. They screw threaded anchors into the plywood pad backing board for the bolts to thread into, but one had wood in it I had to shave off around it, and one was so cockeyed I had to cross-thread the fourth bolt into the backing board. It is secure now, but it was really difficult to get the bolts into the backing. More precise jigging when installing the threaded anchors would alleviate this. I'm satisfied with the final result, the cross-threaded bolt is certainly secure, but it was soooooo aggravating when going together, I nearly blew a gasket. 3) The bench frame part under the seat plate makes it impossible to use a ratchet on the front bolts. And the plate the seat pad goes on is flanged for strength, which is understandable, but that, coupled with the bulge under the leading edge of the seat pad made it extremely difficult to get a wrench in there to tighten the front bolts. More blood pressure spiking and cussing. If the flange were ground away only at the front the seat mount would still be plenty stiff but you'd at least be able to get a box-end wrench on the front bolts to tighten them more easily. I finally got them tightened, but this is poor ergonomic design which would be easily fixed. Bottom line, this is a terrific bench regardless of the price, but for the money, it is a world beater, in my opinion. Although it took me two hours to get it assembled (including trip to get the missing washer), I thought the end product was so good it would be unfair to ding them a star for the frustration. If they'd jig the threaded inserts better, and grind down a bit of the flange toward the front of the seat plate to make front bolt installation easier, and IF THEY COULD COUNT PARTS correctly, this would be a near perfect product. TIPS: You'll need 14mm, 17mm, and 19mm wrenches for assembly for the seat pad bolts, wheeled cross member, and bolts securing the foot/handle attachment respectively. If you have ratchet and box end wrenches use them both. Follow their advice and get all four bolts into seat or back pad loosely at first, then weight the pade before final tightening. If you find you cannot thread one of the four bolts into either pad, after several attempts, go ahead and cross thread it if you can. It will likely be secure enough, but if it doesn't work you'd be returning that pad for a replacement anyway, so no harm there. My back pad is perfectly secure with one cross-threaded bolt. Their included wrench tool helps secure the 19 mm bolts while tightening the nuts. I am not sure if the bolt in the slotted hole at the bottom of the foot attachment is supposed to be adjusted to a comfortable angle and then tightened down, or left for it to slide freely. I suspect the latter, though and left that bolt loose enough the foot attachment pivots easily. It is in the right position for me when my feet are in it in the decline position, and I like that it falls a bit more out of the way when my feet are not in it. Despite the long-winded assembly screed, I highly recommend this bench. ... show more

  • Serious Steel
Color: Matte Red
This is a seriously well-made bench—heavy, substantial, and looks fantastic in red. I had a minor cosmetic issue, and REP's customer service was incredibly responsive, resolving it to my complete satisfaction. For a great FID bench at a reasonable price, look no further. You'll love this bench, and you'll appreciate REP's outstanding customer support if you ever need it. The only thing I wish it had, is a way to stand it up. You can make it work, but is was not meant to do it. ... show more
