These aids would be most useful for someone who need hearing assistance and on a low budget. They do work and improve their hearing for sound. It would be helpful for watching/hearing TV to equalize your hearing. I had a friend try them out and he said they were quite helpful but difficult to retain in his ears. ... show more

This case is sturdy, built well and the right price at only $4.99. It is also just the right size so that it doesn’t take too much room in your pocket/purse but is just the perfect size for a pair of hearing aids. The hearing aids that I currently use have long ear attachments (you will see it in the photo inside the box) and I was afraid they would get damaged by not fitting well. But that was no issue at all. The box – a bit smaller than the size of a 3”x3” post-it note – is also great for privacy as it has nothing on the outside to indicate that inside are hearing aids. And the corners are rounded so it also gives it a nice, clean design with small skid pads at the bottom to avoid damage to the case. The case is also easy to open (for those with arthritic hands or other issues) with an easy to open button to press. The only thing to be careful of is to not open up the case too far as the back could snap off. But this is a tough little case that looks like it could take a beating otherwise and also has a small piece of foam – which can be removed – to cushion against the hearing aids to avoid them moving around inside the case. I wish it came in other colors besides white but for its price, I can’t complain. ... show more

This works well for making sound louder, but not as well for more complicated problems that the hearing aids that cost 10x more attempt to solve. If speech sounds garbled, this may not be right for you, but if you just need the TV too loud for other people, you may want to try it. For the price, these are good, and pick up sound well, so well, I only use one. However, I have trouble keeping it over my ear. Again, at the price for around $50, these are much better than shelling out $6000!

This case is just the ticket for protecting valuable hearing aids. The case is big enough for any set of aids. It has a positive click when closing, so it will stay closed until you open it. The interior is soft rubber so as to not damage your hearing aids, and there is plenty of room inside to store a few batteries. I now have two of these; one for home and one for travel.
