bought these for my wife ,this her 3rd pair . She didn't have much luck with the first two. one was putting batteries in it every two days would not stay in her ears even after trying. Different tip. both set gave her issues , she loves this set ,the charge last a long time and fits her ears really good. bottom line the Luxato is a good buy and there videos helped A big plus is i can turn the TV down.     • This is a hearing aid and not a hearing amplifier
What I like best is that this is a true hearing aid which makes up for the way that different pitches (sound frequencies) are heard with different amounts of loudness. The result is that the sound quality is very good. I also very much like that it performs as a earbud with the benefit of listening to music with a hearing aid which corrects for hearing problems. Audiogram Their Application 'Soundwear' does a hearing test which measures the ear's response to pitches from low notes to high notes. This audiogram is exactly what is done by the audiologist when you buy an expensive hearing aid. The difference is that you can do it yourself as often as you like, just by a tap of your finger on a button in the App. Tapping another button then gets the hearing aid to fit to your ear's response to different pitches from 500Hz to 6000 Hz and above. The result is that you hear sounds at different pitches equally well, as though you had good hearing. Ha ha. You can also make your own adjustments at different pitches if you wish. The result is that you can hear as almost well as you do for most expensive hearing aid. Hearing aids of any sort are of course electronic devices and not ears, so they have their limitations. Hearing amplifiers, just turn the volume up equally for all pitches. The result is that some pitches are louder that they should be and others are not. Music sounds like low fidelity. It would be like simply turning up the volume of a TV and listening without a hearing aid. Background noise I used the hearing aid in a noisy restaurant, and found that it suppressed background noise. and allowed me to have a conversation with ease. You need to use the "Restaurant" setting, which is one of four settings. TV I found that I can set the volume down to 70% of what I need without the hearing aid. Also, you can listen to the TV without others having to hear it. What you need to do is to connect the hearing aid to the TV using the TV's and the hearing aid's bluetooth feature. The TV only sounds in your ear. Music Listening to music can be done with or without using bluetooth. With bluetooth, only you can hear it. It's a pleasure to listen to music when the notes are amplified more or less by the amount they are needed to be. Hopefully it's almost as though you had the same good hearing before it went west. Phone If the hearing aid is connected to your phone through bluetooth, the phone will ring in the hearing aid. You're speaking through the microphone of the hearing aid. No one else can hear what the calling party is saying. The volume is good and the caller's voice is clear. I don't need to use the speakerphone feature to get it to sound louder, as I used to. Bluetooth. Bluetooth devices can only be connected to one other device at a time. For instance, If you want to connect your hearing aid to your computer after connecting it to the TV, you must disconnect it from the TV to connect it to your computer. As with any bluetooth connections, you can move around within its range and listen to music at your ear for example. Volume You can adjust the volume of the left and right ear individually with the button on the hearing aid. Appearance The size of the hearing aid is much like ear buds. Other hearing aids are somewhat larger. Fitting physically The tip is curved so that it hooks inside your ear which makes it hard to fall out. Battery life At six hours of use, I find that the battery life is not long enough. User manual The user manual does not give you the name of the App 'Soundwear' to use to do the audiogram, which is important to know. It needs improvement. Be alert If you are searching for hearing aids on-line, make sure that the audiogram feature and the the hearing aid can be fitted to compensate for pitches at different frequencies (usually at least 8 frequencies) is explicitly mentioned and not insinuated. Many hearing amplifiers mention as many as 16 frequencies, as though they do an audiogram, but they don't. I noticed after I bought these, I saw more hearing aids with all these feature, and some advertise a longer battery life. You certainly do need a longer battery life. Do your own research. The difference between these hearing aids and the hearing amplifiers moves me to suggest that and you must try your best to afford it. ... show more

Not really great as a hearing aid or headphone. I’ve tried the hearing aid function in a work environment and at home. I’ve tried all settings in those situations and didn’t see great results. As headphones they are a little tinny. There is an eq function but it makes no discernible changes. For the price I could have bought Beats for much better sound quality. ... show more

Got these to replace my grandma old ones. She lives in Croatia and the hearing aid she has sucks so I ordered this before the trip. She is 89 and not so much into technology so when I said she can also listen to music or have a phone call she didn’t seem too excited. Then, I played some music for her…her eyes filled up with tears. She said she forgot how soothing music can be..Anyways, these hearing aids are fantastic. I know a thing or two about hearing aids because my husband came back from Iraq with his hearing severely damaged so we had to jump through a lot of hoops until we got him adequate help. These are like the earbuds and don’t have the piece that goes behind the ear to keep them in place. They stay put and don’t move or fall out. They come with the charging case so when the battery is out you don’t have to look for the charger or replace the battery, you just pop them in a case for a quick recharge. Case holds about 2-3 additional charges but a single charge to earbuds can last about 8hrs. If used to play music it’s gonna last shorter, about 5-6hrs or 3-4hrs for a phone call. My grandma doesn’t care about visual appearance but I know many folks do, just like my 41yo husband does. These are great because they do not look like hearing aids, they look like a regular earbuds. ...Otherwise it's a great product. Having it only last 6 hours in a professional setting makes it difficult. I have to take them out for my last two hours at work which kind of negates their purpose. I'm in a noisy environment and when they are charged fully, they work great!!! Once they lose 20% or so charge they don't work as well. It's harder to hear than when fully charged. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These rechargeable, hearing aids are really a great option for those with mild to moderate hearing loss. They have a gray design and look just like a pair of earbuds so they are discreet. I love that they don’t look large, bulky, and like hearing aids at all. in addition to being a hearing aid, they are also a pair of wireless earbuds. These hearing aids are cordless and rechargeable and have up to a 32 hour battery life before case needs to be recharged. They also have a noise canceling design to block out ambient noise. The sound quality on these hearing aids are excellent, and so is the bass and volume control as well. These hearing aids can connect to an app and be used as a hearing diagnostic device to help improve the quality of assistance that the hearing aid provides. With these hearing aids, there are 16 channels that you can adjust, the volume can also be adjusted by 10 levels, and they have four modes. The four modes are general, restaurant, TV and outdoor.     • Good hearing aid at a reasonable price
Very comfortable, I don't even know they are in. Great for watching TV. Very good sound quality. Noise suppression is good. A little background hiss, but I found they all have that, I don't even notice after a while. Well worth the money compared to the doctor recommended ones.
