I am losing my hearing and I started about one and a half year ago trying out amplifiers. I think I have bought three kinds and this product is absolutely the best. I think better than my neighbors $5000 fitted hearing aids that she has to take back for "adjustments '" at least once a month. I just ordered my second pair so I would have a back up only to find that these are very limited. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago and I will get them sometime after the middle of November. Another reason for ordering a new set is the left ear is losing power frequently. I highly recommend.

These do not fit or stay in ears, there is NO sound coming through them after being charged. These are a rip-off.

I wore for about an hour and though I need only a small amount of amplification volume, these still had feedback, my mom's prescribed models had this, but she needed a lot more power. It should not have this issue on such low volume levels. We're not very surround with the pick-up, I lost the sense of space and where some sounds were coming from. It did not work as well with the TV as others I've tried did. I'm not crazy about the noise cancellation either. They are compact and for those on an extreme budget, the charging case, and all in ear design may be a bonus. A mild recommend for minor hearing loss, and those who need only wear to use for occasions like meetings or gatherings.

I bought them in hopes my husband or I could use them. I put the smallest and it would not fit inside my ears right and there was always a background noise which I thought was the selling point to these.

I feel foolish, this review is coming months after I purchased the last pair: this product is unreliable, and I foolishly bought this twice - the earbuds fall out and just quit working over time - I cannot recommend - they market this as easy to use, but was not the case for me - too large for my ears and the sound stopped anyway. In the beginning they worked well, when they worked, but the size made them top heavy and they would not stay in my ears - very embarrassing to have the earbuds fall out in front of people.

Once we start to age, there are certain areas we all need some help with. For many of us our eyesight and the hearing aren’t quite what they used to be. At work and at home, I’ve had to deal with individuals suffering varying degrees of hearing loss. By no means if one has serious hearing issues, they need to make an appointment with an audiologist. For many, simple amplification will work, which is what these hearing amplifiers are for. These aren’t regular hearing aids, but rather a tool to amplify the sound around you. Everything needed is right in the box, including a User’s Manual. This manual offers up step-by-step instructions along with photographic visuals. This is something I always find extremely helpful. There are plenty of helpful hints included in the instructions. I set the hearing amplifier up according to the instructions. Once I got it set up, I inserted the USB connector into the amplifier and then charged it (it doesn’t take long). All of the things you’ll need for charging are right in the box so there’s no need to purchase anything. I found the visuals to be very helpful and had to refer to them a few times. Once they were fully charged, I was able to experiment with them. Now, experiment is the operative word because there’s a bit of a learning curve with this hearing amplifier. It’s no different with hearing aids. Fitting it into my ear wasn’t difficult and I soon learned how to adjust the volume, which was very easy. I immediately noticed a difference in the sound around me. I could hear the paper rustling as I turned the pages in the user manual and was more aware of my surroundings. Now I could hear sounds in the house before, but the sound was considerably louder and clearer. I had the volume up a bit too loud and received some feedback, or whistling from the amplifiers. This is common is regular hearing aids. A household member has double hearing aids and gets feedback when we’re in the car. I noticed if I had my iPad too close, I’d get some whistling. It does take a bit of getting used to and experimentation. I suspect if I were to work steadily tweaking my usage and methods, I’d be experiencing zero problems within a week. And so, what do I think of these hearing amplifiers? I think this is an excellent hearing amplification unit. What I especially like is the fact that it does have a clear user manual. One good thing is that, unlike another unit I have, is I don’t have to cut ear tubes. If you don’t need or want to see an audiologist and want don’t want to annoy your household by turning up that television, this is one product I’d highly recommend. At just over $100, the price is reasonable as “real” hearing aids start at $1,700. I have to admit my hearing is declining. Not enough that I need very expensive hearing aids from a hearing aid store but enough that I miss a word or two when I watch TV at night. I got this set and for the price (rather than the $6,000 ones hubby got!), they work perfectly. The first night I wore them, I even forgot I had them in until I went to lay down to sleep. The case is what charges them so no plugging into a small ear bud. The case is a bit hard for me to open as there could be a slightly deeper hollow to grip but getting it in the right place, it opens easily. (Maybe my arthritis is interfering.) Sometimes I only put one in and that is enough for hear every word. Each ear bud is volume adjustable on its own so if one ear hears better, that side could be at a lesser volume. I have tried several brands of hear amplifiers and this is the one I am going to stick with.
