It was fairly easy to put together. My 13 and 15 year old daugters assembled it by themselves. So far, I really love it. It doesn't take up too much space and our bunny has plenty of room to roam (He's a mini lop, so he's not as big as some rabbits) We also purchased a play pen to sit in front to give him a "fenced-in yard" to exercise. Both items work well together. I'd only recommend buying furniture risers to lift the hutch up a bit to clear the bottom edge of the gate a little better. But we made it work so far. ... show more

This rabbit hutch was the best ever purchased! The instructions were great…the materials are very sturdy and well made. I would buy this hutch over and over (this is my fifth hutch also and the best so far). Highly recommend.

Our bunny loves her house! It’s spacious so she has room to go up & down. I attached a playpen as well to give her more room to run around. She is happy and gets the zoomies so the playpen gives her the room to run while the house makes her feel secure when she needs a minute to herself. There isn’t really room for a litter box but that’s the point of the removable tray. She uses the bathroom on the side she eats and nowhere else so we just put puppy pads in the tray & change them out every couple of days. I took a star off just because it seemed like a crazy amount of work to put together but my husband did it for me so I didn’t have to deal with it. I did end up unscrewing the top so I could remove it and have easy access to replace food/hay, etc. Also, it says chew proof but the wood parts ARE NOT. Overall I highly recommend! ... show more

We love this bunny hutch, it was super simple to put together my 10 year old daughter actually had it assembled on her own before I got around to helping. The company sends these pan liners that makes the clean up super quick and with less mess than we’ve ever had in the past! I kind of like it, but material is cheap of course, I would love to find one that fits my ferrets, it was really hard to clean the cage ( take out the black part) I was using the cover for it that came with it but it wasn’t working, that part was stucking every time i was trying to pull that in or out and the plastic cover didn’t made that harder it didn’t matter if it was on or not each time clean/ dirty same thing, i was pissed off each time i had to clean in, eventually I just threw it away and started using something like cat litter ... show more

Definitely not leak proof. Leaked within the first 12 hours. Put together exactly as the instructions stated including the urine guards. Holes for roof did not match up. Sad that the non shingled roof is a piece of corrugated plastic that has no middle support. I have a cat that likes to lay on it. Totally agree with other reviews here, the latches are cheap and you have to guesstimate where you want to put them as they are not pre drilled holes either. So regardless how careful I was to align them using a level they are still uneven. Wood is pretty cheap so I don’t anticipate this lasting long. Casters, directions say to angle screw to avoid splitting wood. I pre drilled to insure this did not happen. But the wood it attaches to is thin so if you plan on moving it a lot be prepared for it to crack and break. Would not recommend purchasing. Photo shows the urine, I rotated the plastic tray from a crate I had previously to catch the leaks but you can clearly see it leaks. ... show more
