I bought a 24x24. You need to put your points of tension at 28 ft apart. We put them at 26 and it was too close. It stretches on the bias( corner to corner ) . You cannot get it tout without plenty of room. We used 4x4 treated posts. They will not hold. We are putting tie downs with reverse tension on the poles. 24x24 tarp is very heavy. Make certain you have room fir this size and make certain you choose VERY STRONG ANCHOR POINTS. Very durable material. Not truly “easy to put up”. If you can’t mix cement, drill holes, dig post holes, hire someone to install this. It is worth it. My backyard is much cooler with the cement patio not radiating 120° To higher temps. ... show more

This sun shade is used over a 17X34’ pool. Sun shade works great blocking the hot direct sun on skin and water. No more sun screen chemicals needed while under shade and water temp stays much lower. I installed for easy put up and take down and only use during summer mostly on weekends. It has been through a few storms and lots of rain and has held up well. As directed this is not for high winds and I would not install permanently. I wish I had sun shade since pool was installed. Works as advertised. ... show more

    • Great buy but hard to find an installer.

Great product, it looks the way it's supposed to its shades the way it's supposed to but the problem was I had a hard time finding someone to install it for me. Many of these companies won't install a shade canopy unless u buy it from them. Learned that the hard way. However through a ton of digging I was able to find someone (an above average handy man) to install it over my patio for me. So it's a great purchase but if you are not very handy and cannot install it yourself try looking first for an installer in your area before making this purchase. ... show more

We ordered this to use over our cars as a carport. This has been up for a bit now and works great. With our triple digit temps here in the south, and no shade, the cars get extremely hot. With this shade over them, it has made a huge difference.

    • Stretches to the point of beung unusable

The color is great and it seems well put together. And there is a significant amount if sun blocked showing me to work outside even when it's 95 degrees as kind af i have a fan running. However... it has stretched so much it is almost unusable. I put 4x6 posts in the ground, the other side on my house. I set them at 27 feet (for a 24x24) and 9 feet high with turnbuckle to take up slack. Original installation was great... but after 1 month in the sun and rain I've taken up ALL extra 3 feet and it sags in the middle so that it's on my head (6'3") and even lower in some parts. I'm going to put some cross wires in and see if that helps, but I'm afraid it won't. After this the company gave me half my money back and asked me to remove this review. I thought that was a sad move. It's a decent product, but figure 4' beyond what the fabric lays out to for your supports. ... show more
