Previously I ordered a charger made by another company that even after 5 days of exchange of emails with the manufacturer didn't work. This charger was cheaper than the one I had to return and very simple to operate. It has only one switch which functions as on/off and also a selector for amperage and delay time (number of hours from turning on to when charging will be starting). I agree with the reviewer who characterized the "manual" as a job, but really the charger is so simple to operate that the manual is not necessary.     • Turns off at unpredictable intervals
Seemed to work fine but I think it turns off when it gets to hot. It definitely heats up when charging at 40A. It is nice that it will charge my Ioniq 5 at over 9 kW. However, the controls are hard to manage and I don't like that it stops and I have to unplug and plug it in again to make it work.

using for a tesla. was abke to plug in to an existing 220volt outlet. works great. gets me the 40 amps, around 9kwh, which js good for 28 miles per hour. don’t need a fancy, smart charger for tesla as the tesla app has all the control and info. by far the best value for a charger at the price. i paid 188$ ... show more

    • Variable charge rates allows adjustments for inverter generator.
The media could not be loaded. $190 with the $80 discount. Variable amps allows adjusting to generator size. The Ford Mobile charger is fixed at 32 amps and that was too much for generator. Very happy. Going on a 2600 mile drive with locations without EV charging.

Worked fine for about a year then just stopped working! No way to contact seller as window for service, which they say is two years, has closed according to amazon.

Wish I had higher ampere in outlet. takes a full 9 hours to charge from 20%. Manual is a joke doesn't help at all.

Exactly what I hoped for. Charging my Tesla Y upto 40 mph. Heavy duty, can't beat the speed at this price. Love it!
