Worked well for the first few times, and stopped working. At first i thought it was an issue with Mercedes or my Tesla wall charger at home. After ruling out all options and testing with other adapter figured it was the adapter that failed on me. Would not recommend, especially for use with a Tesla wall charger at home, if that is your primary use case. Now that this is outside the return period, i just have to purchase a new one.

GOOD: Was well packaged from factory. Install was easy, and functionally is good. Changing the amperage in the app on the fly is awesome and simple. LCD screen shuts off when not in use to save power. Good quality and amperage for the price point ($200 after $50 coupon) BAD: No cable 50A version caps at 48A in the app so might as well get the plug version that's 48A. Charging cable is very stiff and thick making it hard to manage. App has a lot of functionally, but the charging log only works when you export via email and it's missing information. Same App has a lot more functionally on other EV chargers base on YouTube examples. No way to see the temperature like is possible on other EV chargers.

This was the perfect solution to the biggest problem with having traded in my Tesla for an EV9. I have a Tesla NACS level 2 charger wired at 60 amps. My charger is outside and this is exposed to the elements. I’ve had this for 6 months and it’s worked without issue. This is a great solution for folks who’ve dumped their Tesla, but don’t want to replace their wall charger.

I bought this thinking it was going to be "Just ok". This charger has far surpassed my expectations. I use this on an Ioniq 5 and charge to 80% as standard. It does amazing. Charging speed is great of overnight charging. Value of this charger is amazing. I would buy it again.
