Features
- Choose The Right Size And Style For A Snug FitThis 18ft pool cover is designed for 18ft round above-ground metal-framed pools from major brands such as Intex, Bestway, Coleman, and Summer Waves. Note: If your pool is a 18ft round steel-walled above-ground pool, please select "20'(Round)"Size. (Steel-walled pools have widened rims and require a larger size),or you can consult customer service for a recommended size for the best fit.
- Exclusive Patented Triple Windproof Design double insurance reinforcement of ratchet rope system + segmented drawstring, adjustable tension segment by segment, fits perfectly to the curvature of round pool edges, and with the pool cover edge load-bearing hanging loop (for hanging sandbags/heavy objects), it can withstand strong winds of more than 100 miles per hour.
- Upgraded Tear Resistant DesignThe edges of our round pool cover are designed with a lay-flat seamless design (no risk of edge cracking compared to traditional double stitching). Upgraded 500D Oxford fabric has a tear strength of 330 lbs (lab test), which increases the durability by 3 times, far more than 420D/210D fabrics, ensuring the pool cover is stable for long-term use.
- Always Keep Pool Water Clean This pool cover is made of upgraded 500D high quality waterproof material, with waterproof sealing strips on all the top seams, which effectively blocks rainwater from seeping in and pool water from overflowing, keeps dirt and leaves away from the water, makes the pool water cleaner, reduces the number of times you need to clean and the use of chemicals, lowers the cost of maintenance, and saves you money and effort.
- UV Protection&Insulation PU-coated 500D fabric blocks 99% of UV rays (UPF50+ certified), protecting the pool water and cover from sun damage and preventing algae growth. Black fabric absorbs heat to raise water temperature by 8-12 degrees Fahrenheit during the day while reducing nighttime heat loss by 95% - dual-mode climate control that outperforms silver-coated pool covers.

Size: 30' (Round)
My review is based on a new product that has not gone through a northern Ohio winter yet. The quality of the winter pool cover is top notch. Love the nylon fabric outside that is vinyl on the underside, no grommets that will tear out and the stitching makes it well made. It seems to be of better quality than the best cover I've bought from the pool store. The price was reasonable. The size is plenty large enough for my 30 ft, steel wall, above ground pool. It was easy to install and secure in place. If it survives the winter and lasts more than two years, it will be the best value for the money.

This is perfect for our 16x32 Intex pool. Love the pre-strung cords that cinch easily and tightly. Durable material for mild winter. Its light weight and has several tie down loops for additional security. We have purchased several covers for this pool over the past 6 years and this is by far the best. Looking forward to see how it does over the winter.

So far this cover has stayed put for more than 2 weeks and through a Nor’Easter. Which is 2 weeks longer and a Nor’Easter more than the last cover I had. I think I’ve spent more money on covers than I have on the pool. Friggin wind and turd weather make my backyard a cyclonic hellscape. Godspeed pool cover.

So, I’m very dissatisfied with this pool cover. I never leave a 1 star review, but I don’t even know if I would give it 1 star. It is water resistant which is nice. However, it melted on my pool. We don’t live in Texas or anything, we live in Pennsylvania. I bought this June 2026 because I liked the idea of rain water being kept out as we had to pay to fill the pool (we have well water with high iron) and I also liked that it would keep leaves and bugs out. About 1 week into use, I noticed some black on the floats I use under it to keep it from sitting directly on the water. I thought hmm “well maybe it’s not supposed to use floats. So, I took those out and it was sitting directly on my water in the middle of the pool, with it fitting over the sides very well. The water in the pool is cold, this doesn’t hold in heat or allow the sun to warm it. That’s really not my issue though. As you can see in the photos, the cover is melting all over my pool and contents, despite the water being cold. It started leaving marks on the pool itself and I had enough and took it off! I had to use isopropyl alcohol to clean off the pool parts or else it was black, sticky, and permanently on there. I spent hours cleaning off my pool and you can still see where the cover was. I’m beyond frustrated as it is a new pool this year and my daughter (11) and son (8) have wanted a pool for so long and we finally were able to get one for the family. I don’t “cheap out” when it comes to getting things for family fun. Well, this is cheap, but not the price. It’s thin, and when it starts sticking to itself, it’s impossible to pull over the pool without “unsticking” it. I hope the seller sees this and refunds my money. It’s literally been less than 2 months of use.

33 days in and its leaking at the seams on top. Too late to return it. Hoping the birds don't decide its a good place to hang out now. But the temperature is great. Gets up to mid 80’s when its 90’s outside. The wind gets to blow it off more than my last cover. I think because the tightening cord is elastic and not a steel cable. Update: it’s been 3 months and I haven't noticed water on top anymore. So far its holding up just fine. Using a lot of rubber bungees to keep it on, but its a good cover would probably buy again.

I can’t express enough how great this cover is. It’s durable, breathable so that the water doesn’t sit on top which is good if it rains a lot or snows where you are. Great value. Just buy it and don’t look anymore. I did all the searching and trying for you. (:

Great pool cover, holds firmly in place, love the locking mechanism however, after a 2 months the tape that seal over the joint stitching wore out and started to come loose. Now a lot of the water from the pool seeps on top of the cover making it heave to uncover the pool, also the water on to gets dirty with bugs, leaves, etc. So I'm having to bail out the water first before uncovering the pool.

By far the best and easiest pool cover we've had. You can tell the quality in the material by the weight and the feel, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like some of the others that we have had in the past. the rachet mechanism was easy too! I have a feeling that this cover will last more than one winter
