This cover will not stay on my pool. I have an Intex 15ft round pool, and it keeps slipping off the rails on top of the pool. The material on the underside of the cover is very slippery. I don't see how this would stay in place with the flimsy string meant to secure it. Looks nice, but is non functional. It might have been better to buy a larger size cover ... show more

    • Not what I expected
We have a 15ft round intex pool that we normally take down after each summer. However this year we decided to cover the pool instead. I thought I did my research and after reading reviews I thought this pool cover would work perfectly. Well, technically it does work but the features I thought would make this a breeze to put on our pool failed miserably. The velcro which is supposed to connect around the poles, making it stay in place while you attached the strings just kept coming apart. We would get a few put in place and then they would come unattached as we went around causing the cover to fall into the pool. Eventually we used bungee cords to hol it in place and that helped with the installation. Not a terrible product but did not work as intended. ... show more

    • Doesn't work worth a darn on Intex Prism pools
If you don't stake it down even the gentlest breeze removes it from the pool. The Velcro straps are not long enough to get the wrap around the posts as advertised and the Velcro isn't strong enough on enit gets around the tubing. Once it's staked down only the parts with a stake stay "down" and the other sides flutter in the breeze. Did not keep the cottonwood puffs out of our pool. Also, once I got creative and made the cover stay on (bought enough cord and stakes to use every eyelet) it rained and there was no way to drain the water off the cover. Turned into quite the little kerfuffle as all the yucky water dumped into the pools nice clean water. ... show more

Will not stay on our pool with a little bit of wind, strings do not get tight enough to hold it on, it's in the pool as we speak.

    • Consistency is not there
I purchased this product last year and loved it. Everything I was looking for to stand up to these high New Mexico winds. When it tore because I was being too forceful, I wanted the same one. The new one did not have Velcro straps for every pole so when winds kick up, the edges without straps fall in the pool and submerge. The cover comes with cordage to stake down but just not practical for my needs. ... show more
