I have, so far, purchased 4 of these. I had a major chest surgery that save my life but ended up breaking my back and leaving several ribs detached causing non-stop pain and muscle spasms. This thing actually helped. There are wires that go up the neck portion and the the back goes almost all the way down my back, covering where the back broke at. I alternate between wearing it correctly and putting it on backwards so the heat is on my chest. At some points, I would wear it continually for days at a time and it has not stopped working yet (at least a year). I've purchased two for loved ones with shoulder problems and they both use them all the time. Like it so much, I recently purchased one for a Dirty Santa party. The closure at the front is magnetic to hold it around your shoulders. Since I continually change the way I wear it, I removed the velcro that keeps the bottom to your waist. -- my mom uses the velcro to attach it to her recliner and shoves the shoulder pieces under the head portion giving herself a heated chair that she used continually after a shoulder replacement.

am 5'5" and have severe TMJD and migraines which leave me with a lot of neck and shoulder pain. This heating pad is long enough for my purposes since I need most of the focus on the upper area rather than the lower, however I do wish that the neck area was a bit more heated, or possibly with the ability to clasp it a bit tighter so it has more contact with my skin. I do like the magnet closure and the belt, it makes it very handy for getting up and readjusting, and I like the particular type of velcro it uses doesn't stick to every blanket and pillow I have. The controller is very easy to use and the timer lasts long enough before shutting off automatically. Overall I would give this 4 out of 5 stars, only because the heated collar isn't very tall and unable to clasp it more tightly for better distribution over the neck, maybe I just have a narrow neck but I don't think so. Otherwise this is comfortable and easy to use, I just wish I could use it without having to keep a hand clamped over the neck closure the entire hour I'm on it.

I absolutely love this heating pad. The back heats up wonderfully, the shoulders heat up just right on high and there isn't much heat at all in the neck but it radiates upward pleasantly without causing any discomfort. I have most of my damage in the cervical spine and I worry about burning the neck area because of how often I need to use heat so this works fine for me. On high my neck, back and shoulders are all pleasantly warm and soothed. I'm quite small at 5'2 and it goes all the way from neck to the beginning of my hips. The only two things I would change are; the magnets, they're fairly weak and I'd much prefer a button; and the fact that the shoulders don't lay quite flat enough, the weighted beads sort of cause them to curve but don't allow it to really press into the shoulder joints, but the way it gently soothes the collarbone more than makes up for that.

I use this for my back while working at my computer. I love how it is weighted over the shoulders and can be tightened around the waist to press the heat to your back! I also use it in bed as a mattress warmer before I get in. It's large size makes it perfect for warming up where my back rests on the mattress. Once I get in bed I will kick it down to my feet and let it warm up my feet before I pull it out of the blankets when I am ready to fall asleep.

Hello, Giving my feedback on this heating pad. I like it very much. I use it primarily on the lowest setting. Only suggestion I have is to have the cord attachment plug in to the heating pad be a little farther away (maybe a short cord attached) so that it is not directly attached to the pad to avoid leaning against it when sitting back in use. I have tried so many different heating pads, but finding one that gets heat on my back, shoulders, and neck has been impossible until now. This one fits comfortably, stays on, and gets heat to the small of my back as well as to my upper back, my shoulders, and my neck. The heat over the shoulder is a bit less than the back, but is still more than sufficient to ease the aches and pains that come with age or after a heavy day of working, whether around the yard or the house.

The back and neck heating pad, which was recommended by a friend who purchased one, is great. I broke my neck and back in 2018 and have been using a regular heating pad for pain relief. The back and neck heating pad stays in place and provides an even heat for pain relief. A big improvement over a regular heating pad.

I bought this for my mother and she LOVES it!!!!! She has 4 heating pads already, but she already favorites this one. Her old heating pads didn’t cover the whole area she needed. That caused her to constantly adjust and rotate the pad. This one covers it all. The magnet by the neck is strong and the strap by the waste helps keep it on you.
