I've had this in my Kansas backyard for about a year now, through all the weather: -40 winters, 110 summers, wind, hail, rain, thunderstorms, you name it. It has not started to rust and is holding up extremely well. I am 6'2" and don't want my feet touching the ground when I do pullups. Such an awesome pull up bar. This is a life saver for people who live in an apartment. While it’s a bit bigger than other free standing pull up bars, I think it’s a worthwhile tradeoff. It’s so much more stable than anything I could ask for—I’ve used it for pull ups, gymnastics rows, and I’ve even setup a custom hang board solution for my climbing training. Honestly its a very nice bar, i cant do muscle ups on it but for regular pull ups and hanging rings on them its pretty solid. Would definitely recommend

This is sturdy, easy to assemble and a good value for the money. It takes up a lot of space but you know that going in. Some reviewers have noted that the grip tape isn’t very good and they’re probably right but I didn’t want that anyway. I recommend using weight lifting straps , they serve as the grip and allow you to work your lats without your forearms giving out first. That’s why I wanted a straight bar with no rubber coating. Overall this is a good product that meets my needs ... show more
