This thing is great! I'm 6' and have really long arms and don't even need to fully extend the height adjustment. This thing is super sturdy, relatively easy to set up, and easy to compact to move it around. Grips are ok, not perfect but they are fine enough for the price. I bought this not because I can do chin-ups, but because I want to. Right now I’m pushing 300 pounds, so my current routine is to hang from it like a deactivated Borg drone trying to reboot. And honestly, it’s doing the job. This thing is solid. No wobble, no flex, no groaning under pressure. It holds my full weight without complaint. I use it daily to decompress my spine and pretend I’m working toward dips and pull-ups instead of just slowly elongating like a Stretch Armstrong. Assembly was quick and painless. Everything fit together the way it should, which is more than I can say for most equipment I’ve bought online. No mystery parts. No cryptic instructions. No leftover screws judging me from the corner of the room. It folds up easily and leans against the wall when I’m not using it, so it doesn’t dominate the space. The height adjustment works smoothly, so I can set it for hanging, future chin-ups, or dips once my arms decide to participate. Five stars. If you're a big guy working toward real pull-ups, this is a great place to start. It feels safe, it feels stable, and it feels like progress.

What I was looking for. Pretty good quality. Stable. Easy to put together but it helps to have your own tools. Does fold up into a smaller footprint, but only for leaning it on a wall. Only real issue is the adjustment of the pull-up bar height. Very very hard to raise it by yourself. Even laying it down, still hard to adjust. I eventually had to remove the plastic sleeves to adjust the bar height easily.

UPDATE: Changing this review to a well deserved 5 stars! After some extra help and a little engineering, I was able to get this product fully assembled. It is SOOOO sturdy. Perfect size for me, too - 5’7 and 135 lbs. No movement at all from the pull up station. Looking forward to using this more often! Thank you to the seller who reached out and helped as much as they could. Too notch customer service! I’ll leave my original review below: “As of now, this gets my first ever 1 star Amazon review. I’m pretty low maintenance and easy to please, but I’m SO very dissatisfied and frustrated with this product. I can’t even finish the set up because the nyloc nuts cannot be screwed onto the bolts for the second step of the install process. The nuts can’t go on any further because the bolts have absolutely nothing to thread onto and just spin, giving me no torque whatsoever to screw the nuts on. I have the proper tools, a nice socket wrench set and an impact driver, so that can’t be used as an excuse. I’m sure this product works great when it is fully assembled, but I can’t even get to the point where I can safely attempt to use it. I ordered some extra, non nyloc, M10 nuts to see if that could do the trick. But, as of now, this was a massive waste of $140.”

Box came with all the parts easy to identify. A booklet is in the box with clear assembly instructions. It took me about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to assemble. Once assembled the unit is very sturdy, the safety pins are thick, not wimpy as found in other units. It is easy to change the height for pull ups or adjusting the handles for push ups, dips or other exercises. One issue that could be better, the plastic handles give no cushion at all. As advertised the unit easily folds up to move and store. My overall assessment is power tower is a convenient multipurpose tower that is well built, easy to adjust, assemble, fold and move. The price point is reasonable.

For the price, this is an excellent value. It's easy to assemble, easy to adjust. The grip options are okay. The design is pretty good, better than I was expecting. However, this is a very lightly built piece of equipment. If the user was up in the 230-250lb range, I would worry about the welds and materials used. I'm sure it would be fine for careful static exercises at heavier weights, but anything dynamic is going to put a lot of load on very small welds made in very thin steel.

Very sturdy gets the job done. Does not wobble looks and feels solid. Definitely a value for someone with limited space. The pull-up handles aren’t bad but a little more width & cushion would be an upgrade. The bottom handles are nice as is. Adjusting the height up & down is difficult due to friction. Overall a solid investment would buy it again.
