Installed this after I purchased a Chevy Silverado EV WT 2024 model. My truck can handle higher charge rates so... I looked at what I could install at my home for a reasonable price. This does increments up to 80amps (which is nice). You can choose other increments of charge amps as needed/desired... just be sure to have a dedicated install and breaker for it. I did have a professional electrician install it and run the dedicated amp-handling line (which had to be in PVC in my attic) to my garage. Understand... this is pulling 80amps at most so... make sure your breakers, etc can handle it. As a note, a normal house has about 200amps coming to it (anything beyond that is not typical). Read the warnings about coiling the line while charging... and closing your garage door on the line... those are both "not recommended" due to the heat build-up of the charge (esp 80amps). I have used it for over 2 weeks now with no issues. I charge every night. This thing rocks on charging but "know" your vehicle and what it can take, etc. Also note, this requires a ground that is on the main breaker... if you have a dispersed system... ensure the common ground is on the main breaker or this charger will NOT work. Instructions and support were good.. no issues.

I got the charger fie my EV hummer and it's actually damaged my car burned something inside my car was in the dealer since then 4 months all ready we took the charge me back to Davis the owner of the company and drove 2 hours away for that he open the charger and the all motherboard was burnt we saw that nothing is new in the store they always open charger and fix them then sell it he give us another used charger to replace it but also didn't worked. We shipped this back to him has well 2 weeks ago and still we didn't get our money back! Don't buy this expensive charger they are not new they making them in house and not sure 🤔 if they even allowed to do that!

We had an electrician install it and it works great with our Ford Lightning and the 80 Amps is a great match for that car's on-board charger. Very fast charging, can use the app to see charging speeds, but I really just plug it in and forget about it. Cable feels sturdy and doesn't get warm. The electrician had a question during the install and David from customer support was very knowledgeable about what wire gauge we needed to run, and helped us out!

So disappointed. New unit with handle never dropped and water cover on. Southern CA no less (so rain is rare). Handle filled with water and rendered a "leak error" when I tried to use it. I lifted handle up and shook it. Water came pouring out. Stay away!

This charger is amazing. I needed a long charger for my Rivian as the Rivian brand was shorter for my driveway, but Mr David was very knowledgeable and recommended this one and it works great. I will recommend to anyone that needs the 40 foot charger or longer for their Rivian. Thank you primecom and hopefully it continues to work many years to come.
