    • A Solid Choice for Those With Limited Space
I have been using the 50lb adjustable dumbbells (which are terrific once you get past the fact that they kind of look like toasters) and had been eyeing this portable bench for quite some time. When the price dropped by about $30 or so I took the plunge. For what it is, it's a solid bench especially for someone like me with limited space at home. It works great as a standard bench, although if you want to use it for incline bench press I recommend placing a standard-sized cinder block under the legs by your head so the widest side of the cinder block is on the ground. This gives an angle closer to that in a gym while keeping the bench stable. For reference, I am 6'2" and about 175lbs. Pros: Very stable Relatively lightweight Comfortable padding Easy to fold up and store when not in use Cons: Very disappointed when I turned the bench over to see a Made In China sticker. I'm not necessarily against buying items made in China (hello, smartphone), but as the dumbbells are stamped "Made in USA", I expected to see the same on the bench. Alas, it wasn't so. I am curious to see how this holds up across several months of regular use, so will update my review in a few. ... show more

This bench is awesome! I was looking for something I could use in my bedroom without taking up a ton of space. I have tried three other benches in my room, and I ended up returning or selling each one because of different issues. This one is a keeper! The build quality is great and it feels very stable, even when I’m doing dumbbell bench presses with 80lb weights. If there’s a downside to this bench, then it’s also the upside... it’s small. It does the job without taking up much space but that also might mean that it’s uncomfortably small for some people. I am 5’7” tall and am about 165lbs. The bench is just right for me if I position myself well on it. Overall, it’s a great bench that is a good value for the price. ... show more

    • Great portable bench for the price
This is a great portable bench, but not a great bench. For the price, it's hard to beat. And I was specifically looking for a folding bench to put away when not in use so I won't bash it too hard, but it does have some flaws. I use it on carpet and it wobbles a bit since the legs aren't very wide. If you put your feet down as support, you definitely won't tip over but if excercises where the whole body is on the bench may be slightly dangerous. The bench is pretty low. Great for the aforementioned folding purposes but a tad lower than a standard bench. It doesn't do inclines very well as there's only one setting and you'll have to sit on the ground. Lastly the bench is also a bit short for me. I'm 6ft and laying down with my butt right on the edge of the seat will put my head just on the other end. Sitting any further back and my head rolls off the end. I guess it depends on torso height instead of straight height as some people say their 6ft is fine, YMMV. All that said, I knew what I was getting into buying this. Again, great travel bench for the price (although I would pay a bit more for a longer bench). If you need a larger, more stable bench with adjustments, this is not for you. ... show more

    • Great Home Gym Bench for limited space
I love this bench! Quality built in mind and for a home gym is perfect. I like the fact that I can carry it around easily since it has a side handle that I found very useful. I use the bench in my room with carpet floor, so I put a yoga mat underneath it for added stability then boom. I do bench press with the POWERBLOCK dumbbells, one legged squat, higher elevated pushups, glute bridge, and more using this bench. It’s pretty stable as long as you’re conscious of your movements. However, this one doesn’t have an incline setup. I save the inclined workout at the gym so it’s not a big deal. Overall, I think it’s a good price for a mobile bench. ... show more

    • Great workout bench for smaller spaces (or living rooms)
I've have this bench going on 3 years and I can absolutely recommend it to anyone in need of a space saving bench for working out. I bought this originally when my workout room was my apartment living room, so I needed something I could fold up and tuck away (the weights were a different story, but I've since moved on to the PowerBlock dumbbells as they are a huge space saver as well). I now have dedicated room for the weights and this bench has worked perfectly here too. I've found this bench to be quite sturdy, and completely reliable - no wobble, no matter how much weight I'm using. I will say it's a bit short at times, depending on the exercise, but if you're 5'10" or under, it shouldn't be a problem. Folding the narrow leg to get an incline is a bit awkward at first (and you only get one angle), but it's still sturdy with no wobble there either. Glad I bought this one! ... show more

I have been very happy with this bench. I have owned many other benches over the years to have lots of comparisons. The build quality of this bench is excellent. Great workmanship and materials. It is also very convenient that it can be collapsed easily. I still think that it is pretty expensive for what it is but I would buy again knowing that it is high quality. ... show more

    • Perfect for small apt living
Bought this because I needed something that could fold up and away in my apartment, just don't have the room for a full size bench to be sitting around for 23 hours a day. For that purpose, this is perfect - folds up and away into my closest, out of sight, out of mind. Comes out, I can do my exercises, and put it away again. Only complaint (and it's barely a complaint) is since I'm 6 foot, I just barely fit on it, and wish the pad was 3-6 inches longer for a little more leeway. Other than that, it's perfect for what I need it for - an alternative to bench pressing on my bed or couch, and it's 5 stars for that reason. ... show more
