While the band is a little on the thin side, this is a gorgeous ring nonetheless! The color & clarity is nice. The diamond is a nice size for everyday. I didnt know what a halo ring was but im guessing it has to do with a raised setting with diamonds around the perimeter of the solitaire. This is nice as it stacks perfectly with my other rings and allows them to sit a little under the solitaire. I wanted something i could wear daily but i feel due to the thin band I will have to be some what careful. Ill probably have to have a jeweler add more gold to make the ring a bit sturdier.
