I recommend this GHYKL 6200 BTU Propane Heater for Outdoor use. There are multiple Safety features built in, the Base has 4 Petal like legs that flip out from beneath the Base to offer a wide solid stand for the Propane Tank. The Propane Tank fits securely down into the Base and the Connector Prevents Gas Leaks it is made of Brass and screws into the Propane Tank. A cowling of Aluminum Radiates the Heat, it fits around the Stainless Steel Burner Ball that provides an even heat. The Aluminum Radiator is covered by a Metal Safety Grid to prevent anything directly contacting the Burner, preventing burns from happening. The Ignition Button sparks the Propane and there is an Adjustable Knob that controls the Temperature output from 0 to 6200 BTUs and a built in Shut Off activates if the overall unit flips or falls over. This is a great Portable Propane Heater that can be used for Outdoor Camping trips, heat source for an Ice Fishing Shack or just for a get together out on your Patio. Propane is an affordable fuel source and a 1 Pound Tank will last up to 8 hours on Low Temperature setting or 2 Hours on High Temperature Setting. This Heater is very portable and can fit in a BackPack for Hiking/Camping or fit in your Gear to travel in your Automobile's Trunk. So Far we have used it on our Backyard Patio and it really made a difference now that we are falling into the low 50s in the evening. There are numerous situations coming in the late Fall and Winter like Hunting and camping Trips that we will take the Propane Heater along to use. This GHYKL Propane Heater is the perfect solution to our cold weather adventures, wish we had found this sooner.

I was surprised by how much heat this propane burner put out. On low to medium setting it can certainly keep 2-3 people warm on a cold night. The heater comes with a fold out base that helps keep the propane bottle from tipping over, and the heater element easily screws into the bottle. Lighting the heater is a breeze with the push button start. This is a very functional heater. My concerns though are with the build quality and durability of this heater. The plastic base has stabilizers that fold out and these are thinner plastic supported by a screw and I worry that these won't hold up with use. While the plastic base slides on the propane bottle fine, it doesn't stay on so it you see decide to move the heater it just falls off. Another concern is that the heater portion has an exposed wire that looks like it runs to the igniter. With it being exposed I worried that it's going to get snagged or worn out by the heat exposure. My last concerns are safety related. It seems that that the burner element may be a bit small for this heater. Not because it doesn't get hot enough, but because when you turn the setting past medium the propane gas flow seems to heavy and creates a flame that comes out of the top of the heat shield. For this reason I keep the heat setting at medium or lower. Lastly, this is said to have a tip over safety feature but I tested that out and it kept burning even when I tipped it over on its side. All in all this is a very functional heater and puts out a good amount of heat. Had it not surprised me with it's heat output, I probably would have given 3 stars due to safety and durability concerns. Given that durability needs time to tell, I only deducted for the safety issues.
