It charges my ford lightning, and it was a pretty good price. It has survived many 90f days out in the sun. I'm hoping it lasts a long time. 32amp is probably as high as you should go without hardwiring, which you can't with this one.

The 32A EV Charger by j Junsun, is a good performing charger, with all the capabilities you should need to keep your EV ready to go. Let’s take a closer look at what may or may not make this a good choice for your situation. I. Quality – The charger honestly looks and feels like a generic charger, with thick cables and a fairly strong build. The main box was a little cheaper than the rest, but still nice. The travel bag is generic and cheaply made, but at least it comes with one, if you need to take it with you. I’d put the overall quality in the middle level of the quality scale for at home EV chargers and guess that it should hold up well over time. II. Performance – It’s worked great in many ways, with power up to 32A that is adjustable to what you need. The screen is basic, but nice to have, providing helpful information such as voltage, timer, kwh’s, temperature and current amps. The 21-foot cable is a little shorter than the average of 25ft, but still pretty long and more than sufficient for most people. It’s great to have this extra length if you can’t park next to the charger. My only wish on this one is that it came with a better way to mount it to the wall and it came with a holster for the charging end to dock it, when not in use. Overall, this is a solid bargain friendly option that offers good quality, convenience, performance and all the basic features needed. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

This level 2 EV charger works great with my 2025 Tesla Model 3. I get about 32 miles per hour of charging using this with my 240v outlet. If you need a basic EV charger at a low price, this definitely fits. No complaints!

The media could not be loaded. The J Junsun Portable Electric Car Charger Level 2 EV Charger works perfectly with both our Cybertruck and Model Y. The button reliably opens the charging port, and the connector fits securely—no issues at all. I was initially a bit concerned because the cable is thinner than our other chargers (see photo), but it actually makes it easier to handle, coil, and store in the included carrying bag. It consistently delivers a 32A charge using our NEMA 14-50 outlet, both at home and at our mountain condo. Performance has been excellent so far. Considering the price is much lower than the OEM Tesla charger and it performs just as well, this is a great buy. I definitely recommend it if you own a Tesla!

It feels like a decent construction. Although it appears sturdy, it does not look very long-lasting. This is not that significant to me, but it can be depending on the way you handle your belongings. Even with its sturdy construction, it is nevertheless quite light and unquestionably portable. At first, the plug appeared somewhat tight, but it has since improved. It is better to start it a little tight than too loose, I suppose. Even with careful use, I do not think this inexpensive bag, which comes with a carrying cover, will last very long.

I've been using this charger for a while now and I'd say, overall, I am mostly satisfied with everything. The charging speeds are definitely an improvement over my level 1 charger which cuts down on charging time. The 21' cable offers more than enough reach for me, and should work nicely for most people. LCD display is easy to read and provides key information- real-time current, voltage, charging time, etc. The build quality feels okay. It's seems solid but it doesn't come off as super durable. For me, this isn't a huge concern but depending on how you treat your stuff, this could be an issue. Despite the solid build, it's still pretty lightweight and definitely a portable option. The plug seemed fairly tight at first but it's gotten better with time. I guess I'd prefer it be a bit tight at first than too loose. Includes a carrying case but it's just a cheap bag which I don't expect will last very long even with delicate use. Overall, I really don't have much to complain about with the unit and the few complaints/nitpicks I do have, they don't matter all that much. Could it be built better? Yes. Will it make much difference? Not likely. I'm satisfied with it, it works as advertised and as long as it doesn't die on me in the near future, I'll be happy.

I've reviewed many EV chargers, I would pass on this particular one. I had to return the first one I got because it presented an error in the Tesla app and wouldn't charge. The second one presented the same error but it did charge. Eventually it would charge without presenting the error, but I don't use often anymore so not sure if it will come back. It also wouldn't let me adjust the charge amps on the unit itself.

So while in the garage I accidentally damaged my wife's charger so I got her this. It's working just as good as the old charger we had so that's a great thing. Feels very high-quality and my wife loves it better than the old one if she's happy I'm happy. Highly recommend this
