    • Faulty equipment error after charging!
It charges my Model 3 but after each charge it is now saying the equipment is faulty. I may have to purchase one from Tesla. This is the second after market charger that seems to be faulty. When the Tesla tech comes out to check my windshield. I don’t want my house to catch on fire if equipment is faulty. Big concern for me. I will update after visit. ... show more

I purchased this charger for my Tesla Model 3. It supports Level 2 charging directly but can also be used for Level 1 charging with a NEMA 5-15P to 14-50R adapter (EV version), for considerably less money than the Tesla branded solution. As I type this, I am away from home and my car is outside in 24 degree F weather, plugged in with this charger and appropriate adapter for Level 1, fully charged and ready for today.     • Working, but with a few errors from my vehicle.
Day 1 I already had an existing 240 outlet in my garage that did not have a neutral, only the 2 hot wires and a ground. I was not sure if it would be an issue but thankfully the charger worked just fine. On the first night I had no issues. Day 2 Shortly after plugging in I got an error on my tesla app. It appeared to still be charging so I left it and it charged with the error present. Day 3 I got an error overnight around the time it showed fully charged. Since it charged fully i wasn't too worrried about it. Day 4 Today I got an error with my tesla app and the charging was actually paused. I had to unplug for about 30 seconds and reconnect to resume charging. Given the length of my commute it would have been very frustrating to wake up with a not charged car. Hopefully this is the last of my issues. All in all it seems to be working fine, but I do keep getting errors pretty much dailye. Most of which haven't affected functionality except the one instance where the charging was paused. ... show more

Works well with 2025 Ioniq 5. Price was right and works well. I was able to charge at the full 32 amps and unit and plug did not feel warm.

Works great, however still getting a "defective charger" message on the tesla when it reaches fully changed state. Otherwise great deal.
