I decided to bring my portable ac from my camper over to my mom's house. I stay in her back room when I'm with her. The problem is, I'm hot natured and she doesn't turn her ac down below 78 degrees and no windows are open. I almost die everytime I am there. I needed a new setup to run the exhaust outside and came across this kit. It was super simple to fit in the window with the adjustable slide pieces and the window drops down and sits right on top. There was even a new nozzle to fit on the exhaust tubing. It just clicks into the opening of the panel and the hot exhaust air goes outside. There are extra panels to use if someone wanted a different configuration. The panels are durable, seem like metal, they are painted an off white and have no jagged edges. There is also measuring tape, a marker and screws to bolt in the panels if necessary. No instructions in the box though. I always like instructions even if it is obvious what to do.     • Great vent kit that will cover almost any scenario
This vent kit is very nicely made. It's durable and will probably outlast the AC unit itself. They give you a versatile number of pieces that can fit pretty much 99.9% of scenarios anyone might have. You can easily fit this to any door or window opening within the specs they mention. It is not hard to install this, and you can be up and running pretty quickly.     • Works great easy to set up
We got this to replace our old one that is similar. The pieces slide together and then there are washers that hold them in place. The wing nuts on a couple of them were made wrong and would not work. I wish they sent some extras. The part that attaches to the air conditioner vent hose works great and is much better than our previous one. This also easily fit into our sliding patio door. If you need a replacement window or door insert for your portable AC this is a really good option. ... show more

These are a heavier gauge thicker plastic than the vent kit that comes with the a/c unit, so that right there makes it worth it. These don't bend or warp as easily as the thin ones. Comes with all the hardware you need even a screwdriver and measuring tape; the only thing you might need to supply is some foam insulating tape to go around the edges. ... show more
