For the price you won't get better pads. I'm a professional auto detailer. These pads are good for the price the backing may mess up but I have ordered these multiple times and it's happened to one pad. The fuzz everyone is talking about is normal with wool pads. you need to use a wool pad spur to get all that out first before use and trust me it will take a little work, but once this is done these pad rock I use them to buff after wet sanding and they bring the clear back fast. ... show more

These did the job well enough and my desktop is mirror gloss. They do, even after the first clean out, shed a LOT of fuzz. Not a huge problem, the fuzz didn't seem to get in the way of the polishing at all, but it just made that much more mess to clean up. I imagine that if you used these on a car then you'd have to make sure the windows/doors are all closed or else the fuzz would float inside. I'd buy them again, but it is just a known thing. ... show more

These pads hold up great and I even run them in washing machine once compounds or polish drys and let air dry. Stays on Velcro base that came with my buffer and fits perfectly. Very thick and plush 100% woven wool that is superior to synthetic when working on fiberglass and gel coat finishes like RVs and boats. I have a very large travel trailer that was heavily oxidized and chalky and these pads held up removing it and restoring the finish like new. I used Meguiar's M4965 Marine/RV Fiberglass Restoration System also from Amazon. ... show more

I wasted my money buying these lint generating pads. The moment the pads touched my car a tremendous amount of lint came out of the pad nonstop!! I almost had to wear a face mask. Too many fibers came out of this thing when it was rotating. See the pictures!

Used these on my boat and they made it look amazing. They do shed a lot but not a big deal at all Saves me tons of money from having someone else do it. There is a plastic cover over the back that u have to remove. Read where someone said it kept flying off. It is extremely secure and will not come off it’s even hard to take off ... show more

Yes sometimes they fling hairs up in the air but after a few uses that kinda goes. Unless you buy the very expensive ones that’s normal but if you’re just a weekend warrior these are fine. I use mine about once a month..
